  1. I quite fancy these with a Nismo V2 front and chargespeed rear like the above pic. looked on your web page and couldn't find any of the other bits, but there are other traders here i see that do them. I'm going to tott up the prices for everything plus painting this week (the bumper is a defo because mine has cracked ) and i'll get back to you. if i do go for them, i'll probably take them from you and save myself the hassle of importing keep a set to one side for me will you
  2. hehe, you just reminded me of the apprentice at work who said that S2k is faster top end in a straight line whan a 350Z. I asked him how he knew and it turns out he watched a video of some Turkish guys racing each other on a road. That said according to him 'V-tec kicking in' is the crackles you get from the exhaust on the over run
  3. Well i guess the upside is you will spend a lot less on maintenance. i just can't help myself
  4. You must drive like a Granny out for a Sunday hoon on her way to the local church coffee morning:  Hehe. My first outing in the Z at oulton the existing fluid was boiled after less than 3 laps. I know when tracking a road car the stints should be kept small, and oulton is tough on brakes, but boiled fluid after such a short amount of time is dangerous in my mind. Don't take this the wrong way but when you say your easy on the brakes, Surely this means that you are braking earlier and not pushing in the braking zones. For me, trying find the latest point at which i can brake is one of the most fun and rewarding parts of the track day experience.
  5. I can see how it would be a problem for some. I'm 5'10" and my helmet rubs on the head liner sometimes on track days. That said i might be a bit closer to the windscreen than someone over 6' because i have shorter legs
  6. You will definitely need decent fluid and pads. Braided lines aren't really great when it comes to the old cost:effect ratio. i have some installed and would recommend them if you were doing a lot of track work but if your selling the car in the soon i wouldn't bother with them. If you have crap pads fluid, like Alex said, you will spend most of your day waiting for everything to cool down. or even worse you may get to a high speed corner and find that you have no brakes
  7. Brilliant. Is your price competitive with that of the ebay link including postage?
  8. Do we have any dealers of these in the UK http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/03-07-08-Nissan-350Z-Z33-JDM-Style-Poly-Urethane-Black-Side-Skirt-Add-On-4PCS-/150866205109?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item23205399b5 They seem to rather diffficult to source over here and delivery costs from the US are quite a lot Pic of some similar ones installed:
  9. I know a similar one with a 12 inch pianist
  10. So I got back from the pub last night and watched quali. got a couple of hours kip then was up at 5 to watch the race. was worth it. Great first race! i'm a bit weary now though but at least i know i'll sleep well tonight.
  11. So i'm watching the qualifying replay (that started at 10 on sky) so far its just been a load of regurgitated crap from last year. am I missing something?
  12. Japan? I knew someone would type that It looks liek an awesome series but it's not on any uk tv channel though, and i cant find web streams / videos like GT1

Love this pic, guys. What skirts do you have Buster?
  14. Do you really not like the S2k? i find that i often look at other cars and get myself worked up while i'm sat at a computer but when i'm in my car i forget about all of that. That said i have a Zed and not an S2k, but i have considered swapping to one a few times.
  15. yeah but a GT-R is faster and you could get ten of them for that price
  16. Please let me know how you get on with this. That is essentially £25 off each tyre, which would cover the fitting.
  17. hehe Funny But (sorry Will) nearly all the old BMW knob drivers have Audi A5s these days. The best thing about it is that they think their diesel front wheel drive barge with an S-line badge is a sports car.
  18. Also if anyone knows where i can watch japenese super GT let me know
  19. Yeah, i forgot MCM. It's good car porn and funny at the same time! if you need some racing to watch you should go watch some of the GT1 races of the last few years on GT1World youtube channel while you wait for motorsport season to get going again. last year the cars were tamed a bit and this year it will be tamer still, manufacturers couldn't afford it but up to and including 2012 the cars are monsters!
  20. Last in the series Hope you all enjoyed it as much as i have!
  21. Awesome. I can do Warrington and back in a day easy I'm well chuffed! now i just need to get the rest of my supporting mods done!
  22. I got 8.9 out of a tank once and it took over a hundred quid when i filled it. Wasn't on roads though
