  1. sorry to bump an old thread but i thought it would be better than starting a new one. i picked up my first Zed today and on the way back i noticed that the handling was very odd. on the motorway the issue got allmost scary as (what fealt like the rear right) of the car was squerming around to the point where the traction control light came on. i ended up turning it off as the TC cutting in was making he problem worse. i bought the car as i heard the handling was fantastic from many sources and when i test drove the car i don't recall it having these issues. between test driving and picking the car up, it had 2 rear tyres installed. im thinking that they may have damaged one of the bushes. also i see some similar posts on the internet stating that it may be wheel allignment. must admit i'm not best pleased as i only got the car today and apart from this problem im so pleased with it. having my first rear drive coupe and not being able to drive it properly is rather frustrating to say the least. any info or links to posts with similar problems would be great. also if it turns out to be the allignment can anyone reccomend somewhere near kendal (south cumbria?
  2. After a week of waiting for a cheque to clear im finally insured and ready to pick up my Zed. Should be getting it about lunch time / early afternoon. My last car was a golf GTi and i have been an avid member of UK-MKIVs for the past two years. I have been on the forum for a few days now and you seem like a helpful bunch of guys. I look forward to speaking with you all soon. Chris. P.S I'll get some :pics: up as soon as i can
  3. i remember it won a "best sounding car award" on driven or some other crappy unheard-of motoring program. i didnt believe them until i saw one at a sepercar parade at oulton park and made a mess in my pants. they are also a very cool looking car, i think the shape of the current astons is getting a little boring but the GT is still a beautiful car. the only bad thing i hear about it is that the engine has very little torque low down meaning that it must be revved to get it moving and therefore it isnt a great GT engine. however im sure it is an insignificant defect.
  4. did you ever get some pics up of this mate? looks nice so far
