Refurbed my alloys a few months back after 10 years + of use Before After: Other than the curbing they had faded (UV damage i guess) and just looked old in general. Look brand new now, pretty happy with the job done by Creative wheels in South Woodford

Detailed the car a couple weeks back. (lockdown!) Used a DAS Pro DA and some Koch chemie H8 02 cutting compound and M3 02 finishing to fully correct the paint. This was after a full decontamination using Bilt Hamber Korrosol and their regular clay, with Dodo juice born slippy clay lube. Sealed with poorboys EX-P. (Im into my detailing). Before: After correction: After sealent: Took the better part of a few days. Including Cleaning and conditioning seats and interior. Treating all seals and plastics.

So i thought it was long overdue. I bought my Import 05 Gunmetal Z with Alezan leathers in 2010. First thing was the N1 Nismo kit all round (after the APS Twin Turbo kit of course) And shortly after Volk Racing CE28's 19". 9.5 Front 10.5 Rear +22 offset Under the bonnet is an APS Twin Turbo kit, including true dual exhaust (3") and downpipes (4" into 3.5") Obligatory dyno @ .4bar: Its a serious bit of kit, especially back then: Still running strong after all these years Im also running the uprated higher capacity APS sump. Its been regularly serviced and looked after by myself, or a good local garage when needed.

Put some ONR and water in a bucket and a bunch of inexpensive microfibers in there too. Make up a solution of ONR in a spray bottle. Then one panel at a time, first spray on your solution and then just gently wipe (no pressure) with a microfibre from your bucket. If it needs another pass, redip/renew the towel from the bucket. Change towels often so your not dragging dirt across your paintwork. ONR is well very well lubricated and lifts the dirt of the paint, its pretty safe, and if getting out a jet wash and buckets etc is not possible/inconvenient, Its probably the safest way to go. Nice one sounds like its almost ready then No worrys, I live in the area but i cant say for certain i've seen yours yet, im sure i have seen an orange one though so might have been you, i will keep a better eye out I dont think the bodyshop owner is into the modifying scene etc (nismo/veilside etc) but he came highly recommended as a top bodyshop from a mechanic freind of mine who works for a garage. He said when they want excellent work done, usually on expensive customer cars, they take them to him instead of other bodyshops they use as he is just a cut above, so i thought i would give it a shot. Also driving past i noticed he always has expensive cars in for repair too. Have you heard differant about his work?

Wow small world, mines getting a full nismo N1 fitted by a garage on chigwell Road (which comes under woodford i think?), its GM and JDM and a 2005 54 plate Hope the shop owner didnt strap on a veilside he had sitting around instead

+1 on oz Superleggera III i rekon. Forged 3 piece rims almost 1k per wheel for our sizes

TBH im not doing all that much, so its not gonna look as good as yours. But i do plan to do a small progress thread, plus if i dont Anders will kill me. Anyway you shouldnt feel too down mate, at the end of the day you had a good run doing your car, and it was awesome, now your moving on, the parting out has gone quite well too so its win win. Plus the standard zed is not all that bad is it
