Just done my first ever journey in the snow with my zed, never ever again.....god i need a whiskey. I guess it just takes some getting used to rear wheel drive in the snow but jesus i felt so little in control. At least car and driver got home safe.

or a crafty way to get a list of email addresses to sell on - or in my case a worthless email address to take all my junk

Well snow has finally hit the south. For once weather prediction was right. Light covering this morning with heavy snow predicted for the rest of the day. I'm not going anywhere near the zed in this weather.

Really sorry to hear the news. It's terrible when things like this happen and you are absolutely right it puts all things into perspective and makes you realise what is really important in this life. Family and friends, nothing else really matters in comparison. Don't batter yourself about the past, it's a natural thing we all do under these circumstances, just focus on the now and your dad. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Will.

Lol you had me worried there. The seminar yesterday gave me the courage to try out my claying kit at long last and your post nearly panicked me again lol.

Not that I ever use a normal automated car wash but a story from a friend of work proves I will never use one again. He was half way through the wash when the system shut down. He managed to get out and go and complain. They said some kid must have hit the emergency stop. They told him to go get back in the car and they will start it again. He went to get in and the idiots started the machine too early he tried to rush into is car but the rotating drum was too fast. He got in just in time but didn't manage to shut the door. The drum caught the door and totally bent it out of shape. He was dam lucky. Garage have accepted full responsibility but the car is a mess. And I was just worried about the paintwork in those things.

Big thanks to tim for organising this event. Was very enjoyable and learnt a lot. I know not be be afraid of claying now, will save some time now too as I'm surprised how quick you can do it, expected it to take all day to clay my car. It's always good to meet up with the gang too and meet some new faces. Thanks for the convoy and thanks Darren for rescuing phil. He's still getting used to his car and thankfully we checked the car over and there was no damage after his spin and the encounter with the ditch. Phew. He lowered his tyre pressure on the way back after taking some tips from the drift master Definitely want to put the da down on the Christmas list. Was very impressed. Poor Darren having your car picked on like that for having all those swirls....tut tut. You really need to learn how to detail properly. Good to see you up and about. Really impressed with meguairs And now got lots of products to look through to see what I actually bought. Thanks again all and see you next weekend for goodwood.

lol the issue with menu selection is now identified as a problem. Why would it try to constantly connect to a server for a singleplayer game is beyond me. At least this means it will be fixed soon. FYI: If you're trying to play Gran Turismo 5 at the moment and wondering why everything is stalling and running so slowly - even in your singleplayer games - you can thank "extreme online traffic congestion". While that's a common and understandable thing to be affecting the multiplayer side of a major game so close to launch, having server problems screw up a singleplayer game is both less common and incredibly frustrating.
