  1. Hope this isn't a repost but just found this story on The BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-13277186 Pete
  2. I didn't have the greatest of experiences dealing with Wheels UK in Coventry as they were unable to source any tyres for the wheels I ordered off them. However, I can vouch for them as being an honest company as they didn't take any money from my account at any stage and accepted my reasons for cancelling the order. Pete
  3. Not long to go now . When will the routes be revealed Pete
  4. The low profile nuts would jut out of the spacers as they're only just under 20 mms and replacement Eibach nuts are horrendously expensive Pete
  5. JetSet

    z dust caps

Got some of these, one of The Z stickers came off after about 300 miles Pete
  6. If Kenny had been in charge all season we'd have ended up 3rd no problem. Back to the final though, should be a good game and I'd make Barca slight favourites if only for the fact they've got Messi in their line up. Not going to stick my neck out and predict a result though, I've found in the past that this sort of thing usually comes back to haunt you Pete
  7. Looking good to me:thumbs: Pete
  8. Passed my driving test aged 20 in 1969, first time (cost £1 back then ) . Much easier in those days, a quick eye test, just 30 minutes driving a few questions about the highway code and that's it. When my daughter was learning a couple of years ago I went through the theory test with her and scored pretty well so if I swatted up I'm sure I could pass it. Oh, just remembered, hand signals were part of the test back then, many cars still had the signals that popped out of the bodywork and they were pretty unreliable Pete
  9. HAHA Why does everybody hate him!? Yep they should have lost by way more! Who would have ever thought many years ago that Fergie's statement was actually meant and would be achieved? People must have laughed at him at the time due to the success and dominance of Liverpool then. I never laughed at him because United should have dominated from the 60's onwards, they just needed a decent manager. They've always been a glamour club and the best supported club in the country to my knowledge which goes back to The 50's. The fact that Liverpool were the top team for so long was actually something of a miracle considering the club was almost bankrupt after 10 years in the old second division and they had little support outside of the Merseyside area. Just as Arsenal in the 30's, Leeds in the 60's and Liverpool in the 70's and 80's, ManU's dominance will eventually end, the problem is that the Club I see most likely to end it will probably be Man City and I doubt that any club not in the current Top 6 will win the Premiership in the next 25 years. A lot of people hate Fergie because he's ManU's manager but to me I don't like his childish attitude towards The BBC, he's a bad loser and even worse, a bad winner. Great manager for sure, but as a person he just not in the same league as his fellow Scots Bill Shankly and Mat Busby Pete
  10. The back end view is the most attractive part of the Cayman IMHO and in fact I just love the entire design . Pete
  11. Good race again, Vettel looks unbeatable right now and Red Bull remain one step ahead of anyone else. Pete
  12. United played pretty well today, Chelsea just not up to the job I'm afraid, they were lucky only to lose 2-1. Can't stand Fergie, horrible man, but you have to take your hat off to him, the sooner he retires the better Pete
  13. That's very possible, if the number plates don't match, ie if it has a Halfords plate at the front and a dealers plate at the rear then I'd say yes. However If I owned a JDM and damaged my number plate and surround I'd replace it with a U.K plate . Pete
  14. Not too sure, might be clear ones? Pete
  15. Nice car, best colour . Nothing wrong with imports, and as far as The SatNav goes, just rip it out and get one of the custom made ones that are on offer here . Can't quite make out what those wheels are, they don't look like Rays or The Standard 350Z wheels. Pete
  16. This is a typical example of the poor response you get from The Police, something you see time and time again especially with Anti Social behaviour, they will wait until someone gets killed, commit suicide or get seriously injured before they take action...And this isn't just vandalism it is extremely dangerous to interfere with someone's tyres. Pete
  17. That map is a bit generalised, apart from The Wirral, Chester and Deeside conglomerations, 90% of my "black" area is just smallish country towns and villages. I only pay £500 insurance on my CH7 postcode but I bet The folks in CH1 (Chester) or CH41 (Birkenhead ) will get hammered. Pete
  18. I did a tour of Kennedy Space centre in 1994, one of the shuttles was on the pad, 2 days away from launch so I couldn't get too near. I was staying in Orlando and after much debate decided not to go to the launch...the 06:00 launch time was the big decider . Anyway, tuned in to the TV to find that the launch was aborted at something like T -3 seconds . Did manage to go inside the replica Shuttle though Pete
