  1. Hi Peeps, Looking for advice based on experience. I've got some Tesco clubcard vouchers to get rid off before their value drops. Had a look at their rewards site and I can get an experience to the value of £264 here: https://thruxtonracing.co.uk/clubcarddeals I'm thinking of trying this... https://thruxtonracing.co.uk/experiences/tesco-racing-car The aim would be to drive the formula Renault car. But not sure if it's that great an experience. What would you pick? I can't access their full catalogue, just the ones in the first link. Thanks in advance for any responses.
  2. If it's a 370z I believe that ancaster south Croydon won't do it. Doesn't the 370z have to serviced at high performance centres like the gtr? Your definitely be better off going to abbey. Otherwise if you don't mind the journey, kaizer and Horsham developments are well recommended.
  3. Not all the way to the M25. I'm within it but outside the ulez expansion zone
  4. 1) AmyZed FA51 AMY 2) The Bounty Bar Kid T8BKD (as long as you don't mind a porker joining)
  5. Come round to mine and we'll go for a spirited drive 😁
  6. Maybe I wasn't pushing it enough for it to change. Sports plus is apparently only really for track driving.
  7. Normal mode, ecu shifts gears where economy is the aim but taking into account how aggressively you pressed the fun pedal. On my Cayman s, I'd estimate 0-60 to be about 6 seconds in this mode. Sports mode, speed is priority. Changes gears at higher rpm. Also opens exhaust valve at 3500rpm if fitted. Not sure if it goes all the way up to max revs, but I've only experienced/noticed it changing at ~7000rpm. Sports plus mode, you have to change the gears, and it will let you into redline.
  8. So I got the PADM replaced and at the same time asked for my wheel alignment to be checked as I felt the car was slightly pulling to the left. As I suspected, it needed adjusting. Had a fun spirited drive back, felt sooo good 😍
  9. Fair enough, just wasn't too sure if it's better to take it somewhere who deals with them. I remember that the 350z needed the cats to be up to temperature or it'll fail the emissions check, so wasn't sure if maybe Porsche cars had something similar that meant it'd be better to take to a specialist.
  10. For those with a porker, do you get your MOT done at any place or take it to somewhere does deals with these cars?
  11. Ah I thought you meant an Integra, I just wasn't sure.
  12. I never used hawks on my zed but ferodo ds2500 felt great on the road.
  13. Do we have to buy tickets on the day or do we have to advance buy them? Just realised that I can get a free ticket so could buy ahead to save money. So if we're not tied into buying them from them, I might as well use my free one.
  14. It does have 3 settings available on it so you can use it with less pressure. Can't see which setting it's on.
  15. Oh they're out of my life permanently, there's no coming back after what they did. Anyways, back to Carla... So happy we're expected to have dry warmer weather. I'll be able to clean her more often and she'll stay looking clean longer 🥳
  16. Doesn't bother me anymore, better to remove toxic people from your life.
  17. The PCM updated unit hasn't been released for my model yet. I might look into it, but once I've got some more cash to burn. You can only warranty 15- year old cars, so I could only do a max of 5 years as mine is a 2013 model. Yeah family suck, but I'm so much happier that they're out of my life. Ideally I would have told them to f off and kept the wife.
  18. I was 40 last year so my dad decided he'd offer me £40k to buy a car. Admittedly, this was 8 months after my birthday (part of me thinks he forgot how old I was). It's an advance on my inheritance. Conditions were that I could only use it to spend on a car. Anything I didn't spend, would be lost. As I don't talk to his wife (my biological mother) or his other kids (my biological siblings), I didn't know what to do, so I took the offer. He said he was going to offer them the same. In "normal" circumstances I'd have spoken to his kids to agree what road to take (accept or decline), but because I'm not speaking to them (and haven't in years because they're knob jockeys - his wife and other kids are the MAIN reason I'm single and divorced), I said yes. Why not? I didn't know how they'd react or why not?
  19. Considering I personally only paid £2000 for the car, it's a fair price to have it.
  20. The problem I had with the Porsche warranty is that they don't like non Porsche parts being fitted and I HAD to have Android auto retro fitted which is non Porsche so I knew it'd be useless. It's made the experience so much better.
  21. Porsche independent. Same place I bought the car from.
