  1. Sounds lovely, I now wonder what mine sounds like. Esp as the missus said it sounded very loud the other day as I drove past her.
  2. Okay this may sound stupid but in your rush and then subsequent panic, did you press the clutch pedal down far enough when starting the car? I've done it before. In the first couple of months of ownership. Went to get in car to go somewhere, it didn't start then started to panic and eventually realised I wasn't pressing pedal down far enough as I started panicking. Never had an issue since, so I suspect it was just be being an idiot.
  3. Old dirty man pays young boy to get wet and wash his car whilst he sits back in his chair watching eagle eyed barking orders like scrubb harder, no gentle there. Get your hands in that crack. I'm sure Jimmy Saville got done for that!
  4. 206 GTi 180 to this. The Wales trip waswhen I truly lost my Zed virginity.
  5. Are you kidding!!!!!?? Youre worse than ME!!!!!!!!! haha Nope. Lol. Only when I've waxed her. She tastes great!
  6. Shame about the tramp in the video with him.
  7. I do that too. Sometimes I even kiss her goodnight.
  8. A mate of mine had one. Really good car. Does the job and well built, just like the gay guys you'll end up picking up in it. Does your wife know? Or are we keeping this one quiet for now?
  9. What had he done to his zed? And what had you done to yours? Or was it just down to the driver?
  10. Alloys look would you consider selling them without tyres? Already got a set of near new winters on my spare set.
  11. Amused....not annoyed I don't think the OP was that angry. Just having some fun with the story.
  12. Snap! beat you to it though Well I'm not here as much as I used to be so don't catch things so quickly anymore.
  13. Racing? I hope you mean on a track!
  14. Most people think that winter tyres are just for snow conditions, but in actual fact they are good to use at temps under 7 celcius. I think it's something like summer tyres vs winter tyres in cold temps (sub 7 celcius), winter ones will brake 25 % quicker.
  15. Really interesting what you all say about a good set of winter tyres. I had no idea they were so effective. Sorry - genuinely didn't mean to turn this into a 'winter tyres' thread when we're still in August! Irrespective of how the power gets to the wheels, its the tyres that are touching the tarmac.
  16. Your child, your peace of mind, your decision. But decent winter tyres on a zed would be safer than cheap summer tyres on a fwd car. The only dangerous thing would be your right foot. Just don't put it down in snow! I've got Michelin Pilot Alpines on mine. Lovely!
