Some go a lot earlier some are good for a bit longer, all down to driving stylr I guess.... Mine was changed on about 76k and yes those sound like telltale signs...

When I first got my Zed it had a slight crunch fron 5th to 6th it got worse until it began to vibrate at 4k in 5th really badly. I asked on here and as suggested got my gearbox oil changed and molyslip added. That was on 72k and the gearbox is still smooth as silk on 108k. Yes it is notchy especially when cold but once the oil is warm it is wonderful....

The gearbox, especially on earlier Zeds is what is best described as 'industrial' it is one of the things that makes the drive for me, you really have to ram it in to get the best results....

I admit I bought my Zed for the looks and how it makes me feel driving it. It makes even the mundane trip fantastic knowing people look and admire it.
For me a sub 6 second 0-60 car is everything I want as I will probably never go near a track...

I was going to go payg on my 4 with giffgaff but I am now getting a 5 on three with unlimited data and more minutes & texts for £34 a month and a 16GB black 5 for £19, already sold my 4 for £200 to a friend at work so happy with that
