  1. That's a water/oil cooler which alot of factory cars have( even my old rs turbo which was 1987 registered) it uses the engines coolant to do the cooling. If you replace with aftermarket you normally remove that sandwich plate, join the two water pipes together and get a differant sandwich plate which allows oil out those two pipes on the side and then you route pipes to a nice new oil/air cooler. At least that's what I've done in the past, I don't know if the Zed is differant
  2. It's true dual so comes from each cat all the way to the tailpipe which deletes the point of a y pipe
  3. That looks like a poorley Zed, sorry buddy. Did you have the ESP off? cause mine doesn't really let it go anywhere When its on. Its pretty well planted even with it off
  4. That looks great . Have you heard one in person yet? Hopefully sounds nothing like the K1 . Just out of interest where abouts is the fitting shop?
  5. Near side is still curb side(passenger) as far as I'm aware mate hope this helps.
  6. Alright mate Zmanalex was doing a set of 6 denso iridium plugs for £45 plus postage a little while ago, so give him a go and there are acouple of guides on here for you. It is fiddley but most monkeys are capable, I was
  7. I've spent a fortune with Alex lately and can honestly say the guys service is Top notch everything usually comes within 48 hrs of payment. And he has always replied via PM To me. I've never spoke to him through email though I'm sure you'll hear from him soon
  8. The relays are in that little fuse box by the battery, the connections Alex told me to check are the ones on the actual motors them selves and if you follow the wires down about a foot there is another join on each of them. Failing that mine were really intermitent so I took both fans out and had the blades off of them and just filled the motors with electrical cleaning spray untill all the black crap stopped comming out. Now they seem to work fine
  9. Alright, They don't have a fan switch as far as I'm aware. It's all done on relays etc. PM Zmanalex he helped me out when mine were messing about . Can just be bad connections sumtimes. Hope this helps
  10. OEM are studs so you won't be able to use them. You might be able to reuse the y pipe to mid pipe gasket but you will need two new ones for the back cans. Did you get the exhaust new?
  11. Nice I like that . Wot front splitter is that? and where sells it? Cheers Tom
  12. Hello mate where are you based? Thanks
  13. Have you tried Spit and Polish in Tonbridge Kent? I'm sure they do split rims but the trouble is I don't know weather they put them back together, because they can leak air through the joint
  14. I think I've read that Zmanalex has some, But I could be dreaming
  15. I just did mine this weekend myself, prob took about an hour to hour and a half. And I didn't need to take the inlet plenum off. It fiddley but not hard
  16. She came with Ekona, that his car.
  17. Ask that mad marky because from memory whilst I was drooling over his engine bay at brands recently I saw one of his looked like it had been repaired
  18. You can melt the plastic back together somehow, not sure how but I had a mate do mine on one of my old cars. or some sort of epoxy glue
  19. Yea Shane drifts in the BDC, and he's got a pretty nice car. It some S15 with a V8 twin turbo lump in it. I can't get the video up but his is the stobart sponcered one
  20. Wot do you mean when you were 18, I'd still sell my left nut for one now they still look brilliant and sound even better. But I've always had a soft spot for an old ford, and that's the ultimate old ford
  21. When I first bought my zed, one of the rear wheels only had 4 nuts on, which was nice of the previous owner. But I never got any clicking noise. So I think that might not be your problem. I know it sound silly but have you checked for screws or small stones in the tyre?
  22. There's probably a pair of little pikey kids that think their well cool cause they've got zed valve cap on their push bikes . On a serious note though, i'm amazed mine have lasted so long, now hands off
