  1. Listening to that clip I had a very similar sound when I fitted straight through decats with a OEM exhaust. Anything below about 3k made that horrible rattle/resonate sound to the point i had it on a ramp and ended up pulling the heat shield off around the STD Y pipe but it was still there. So needless to say they lasted all of about 24hrs on the car, and now have a home in my shed
  2. I think the term is ( all the gear, no idea ) Halfords are very good though for what we need. My ratchet spanners have lasted very well and they get some abuse I normally just go for the torque setting of FT though unless it looks delicate
  3. Don't know but it is very light, especially for the girth of it didn't look much like carbon from memory though
  4. I think it will still be there if you go and get it plugged in properly? When I fitted my air filter I stupidly started the car with the MAF unplugged and it threw one up I reset it myself and then went to a mates garage where they plugged it in to the diagnostics and it was still stored . But as above if it doesnt come back I wouldn't worry
  5. Going sat afternoon with a mate and the Supra site, its quite a good idea really, a Bluewater meet, then film, then a meal. Should be quite a laugh and over 40 people attending
  6. Abbey Motorsport are traders on here and in oxted just off the A25. And I've heard they know their way round a Zed pretty well
  7. I fitted mine last week and the knocking has gone but I can't say I've noticed a massive difference, but then I don't push the car to the limit often. I have noticed the car still squirms a bit under heavy braking though but it has got quite a bit of negative camber on the front as I'm too tight to buy the adjustable arms
  8. Are you not able to come to this now then Martin? It's gonna be a good one
  9. Alright Jez I am having mine pressed in tomorrow and have read that the standard ones are offset. When fitting the new poly ones do you press them into the centre as they don't seem to be offset? Cheers Tom
  10. Sorry but as they say on Dragons Den ' i'm out ' I've just bought a set through Horsham developments And hope to have them fitted as soon as 1-GT4 ZED 2-Clarkie34 3-Wasso 4- 5-
  11. Gets my vote, it's always a bit more entertaining when it suddenly pours down, as long as someone parks in front of the pace car so they can't keep sending it out

  13. Hi mate I have a set of strup USA non resonated ones sat in my shed would you poss consider a p/x with your high flows + cash your way? Cheers Tom
  14. Oh ok cool, I think I'll be raising it up a bit then. Another quick question for Abbey is, as a more fit and forget type bush which is better, a super pro poly one or your rosejointed ones? Cheers
  15. I think I do need to raise it a bit. The compression bushes are already torn and will be replaced shortly and I don't know about shafts as I haven't looked what height is the Lizards race car if you don't mind me asking? Looks a bit more manageable than mine Cheers
  16. Well I'm on coilovers and origional rays and the tread of the tyre is hidden by the arch i would say its deffinatly lower than what eibach springs drop. But im only on an Oem bumper now, I removed the ings lip because the height I wanted to run the car the lip was bearly 40 mm off the ground I'll get round to putting it in the forsale section soon
  17. Too much probably about 40mm the car looks great though the printout says -2.26 camber nearside and -1.48 on the offside. i think im going to just see how quick it rips the arse out the tyres
  18. As the title really, I've recently lowered my 350 and had an 4 wheel alignment done and was just wondering if the front has any camber adjustment on the OEM stuff. i have the SPC rear arms and bolts and was trying to avoid buying the front ones. i know the rear OEM setup had some adjustment, just wondered about the front? As i had a sneaky suspicion the guy in the tyre place didn't really know 350's Cheers Tom
  19. Count me in then 1-GT4 ZED 2-Clarkie34 3-Wasso 4-chippychip123 5-
  20. Mr Lizard what are your wheels, ultralights or Rota's. Also what size and offsets are they? I think they really suit it
  21. Im Interested, but is that price for both sides or just the one? If it's both then count me in
  22. Would it not just be covered under an intake mod as it just improves the flow of the air intake?
  23. Just payed, see you all there Bring on the sunshine
  24. Right i've been having a little lookie under the Zed tonight and discovered the spring wasnt seated properly in these 3 tabs mentioned above so i thought ive found the knocking, I seated it back properly and put the car back together . Time for the test drive , I get to the end of the road and turn onto a road where it always knocks and guess what? yep its still knocking so i pull over and set the rear suspension to the hardest setting as mentioned above, and go for about a 5 mile drive . Then about a mile from home i pull back over and wind them back to the middle setting and guess what? it appears to have disappeared Lets just see if it is gone for good! How did doing that make it disappear though thats what i want to know? Anyway thanks for the help guys Cheers Tom
  25. Thanks also Sorry for the hijack Ruddles, I will also be checking all of the above this weekend
