    350Z Panamera

I'd give him 40k to destroy the molds.
  2. Maybe a poll survey would make for interesting reading...just for fun. 1 - Standard body and wheels 2 - Very light body mods and aftermarket wheels 3 - Full on kit, paint and wheels Not sure how, or if there is the facility to post one on here.
  3. Lovely looking Zed...always good to hear of another not too far from me.
  4. What's the moral of that story? Missed it completely. I agree with Craig. My cars modified to my taste to reflect what i want in a car. I will never sell it and Im prepared to wreck it at the track. It's a toy, not a work horse. Everytime my car is out I drive it the way it was built to drive and have yet to have anything to go wrong... People use them as work horses and never have the full enjoyment of it. No matter what anyone says views will always be biased as people with kits will say they love them and people without will say they hate them. Very bad thread in my opinion. Love your car and that is all that matters. If people have similar taste to you and like your car then that's good. All this thread is doing is stirring up another girly feminine handbag match. Time to lock. This place is a joke with these sort of bitch debates. Accept the fact not everyone likes everybody's car. Love your own and that's all that matters. I didn't know it was compulsory to post in every thread, if you don't like a thread its quite simple DONT POST IN IT. Forums are generally for debating and in debates people have differing views and that is healthy. look mate, these thread generally end up going one way. No matter what you think all you're getting is biased opinions. Nobody with a kit is going to say, "I dont like the kits" and as for shouting at me not to post in threads... watch your mouth ... no need to shout. Forums are there for discussion. Discussion of things worth discussing. What you have asked, I can guarantee, will only get you biased answers which will then turn into a handbag throwing match.... so put your handbag away and as I said, no need to shout and be very careful who you choose to talk to that way. Well, as long as your not overreacting thats the main thing.....
  5. I think it's a valid thread, if you own a standard looking car and found yourself poking around the forum you could easily think that most owners put kits on their cars, I know I did so i can understand why the question would be posed....no one is slating anyones car.
  6. I can't help but disagree, the top shot of the car as standard looks beautiful, side by side personally I'd take the keys for that one all day long.
  7. I'm with you 100%, regardless of what model 350z i'm not a fan of aftermerket kits or spoilers, I can't think of a kit on any marque of car that enhances it...for a 350z add a stubby and a decent set of rims and that's job done.
  8. Evo mag lists the Zed at between 1525 and 1532kg depending on what model.
  9. Pug 106 rallye with a 1.6 gti engine in it....that's do me for a track car....proper cheap to buy and maintain....granted it's far from a zed but what a giggle. That's the sort of one of race series i could afford do and keep my Zed and daily oil burner.
  10. The body mods are a "nismo v1 bodykit"... one of the most desired and natural looking kits for the 350z mate. Its not that the market is narrow for selling it, I think the complete opposite. The problem lies where the owner appreciates the time and effort in this car and wants more than market value for it. If the price was right that car would sell in minutes as its an absolute stunner. PS theres something bizarre about the front bumper for being a factory fit though.. The headlight washers look weird. Just noticed a few minutes ago. Sorry lol I'm not knocking the car, just my opinion that any bodykit or exteria modifications regardless of how desireable it may be considered within the owners club community narrows it's market of appeal therefore potentially increasing the time it takes to sell.
  11. I can't help but think that the body mods on your zed really narrow it's market for selling and as such I think you will be waiting a long while for someone to come along and pay top dollar for a car built to such individual taste....like you say, i think 7k is the right money but fingers crossed you can pinch a bit more off the right person.

    Some pics of my Z

Car looks great.....think seriously about the bodykit, they seem quite popular on the forum but for me i don't think they enhance the car, it's got beautiful lines as standard and I think benefits best from subtle exteria mods. Love the garage sign, where did you get it?
  13. Agreed, he has totally wrecked a Zed, that car is shocking....but that statement could be said of a few cars seen on here too
  14. Beautiful engine bay......shockingly bad head light covers.
  15. I drive a 57 plate 313 and a pal of mine thought I'd paid 25k for it....those not in the know seem to think it is a pretty expensive car.
  16. I buffed my car to within an inch of it's life over the last few days and i must confess it is looking proper sexy...so i went to the gym today and managed to park it right outside the front door, as I left the chap at reception that i know quite well pointed me out to a few fellas walking in saying 'it's his car', apparently loads of people had been walking in asking who's car it was which was nice to hear.
  17. Some good stuff there, thanks. Part of the reason i went for the Zed was actually the limited options for modification, trust me when i say if i picked up an Evo Tommi Mak or newer model Scooby (both were on my short list) the temptation to do a load of money on modding would have been too much to resist. I'm not looking to chase power figures like i did in my pulsar days just a little more grunt and a bit of volume. Once i go with the berks, exhaust, filter and uprev I think that would be me done because the jump in cost to gain more power would be way more than I'd ever spend on modding a car again.
  18. From what I'd read I was of the opinion that the cosworth panel filters gave better gains than most other options?
  19. That's some serious commitment to the Zed...the first two incarnations couldn't be any further from my taste and I'm not a fan of the white interior or kit but the white paint really looks nice on a zed and it is nice to see a modded car without oversized wheels, i like the colour coded calipers too.
  20. I think I'm kind of somewhere in the middle, i want it a bit quicker than standard but i have no plans for track days at the moment and am only using it on the road around town so the standard stoppers and springs will do me fine and I want a bit more noise just for the hell of making a big ass 3.5 litre V6 sound a bit meatier but I'm not looking a anything silly chav loud.
  21. I think I'm going to go for it, my reservations have come from when i got the car at the start of the year and I promised myself that i wouldn't go down the modding route again....25k later i learn't that with my pulsar I'm not expecting a turbo like boost, far from it, and although I've read lots of posts with people having good things to say I just wanted to ask the question and double, double check I'm doing the right thing...my wife would disagree if she found out but i like living on the edge! No worries about not coming back, I've managed to get an ok price sorted and am going to go with that.
