Called this morning and the car is now sold. The Black/frost one i looked at wasn't for me so looks like I'm back to the drawing board....although I've found a private sale grey 313 that I'm going to see this weekend, I'm just a bit nervy about private sales.

Shame it isn't a GT spec.

popped in today to have a look at the Zed for you. It must be sold. No sign of it and couldn't find any sales guys around to ask even though the place was open. I've also noticed that the listing on autotrader has now gone. Keep searching Thanks very much for popping in...I'm off to look at a black/frost zed this morning but I'll give the garage a call to find out if the red one is sold.....when i spoke to the garage last week they said it was going into the bodyshop for a ding on the back so maybe it was still in there and with the ad maybe they are going to update the pictures, the autotrader pics had it sat in snow which suggests it's been for sale since December with isn't the best way to sell a car....or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I like the fact that it is a rare colour but the flip side of that is that I've not actually seen one and the pictures on autotrader are not the best quality. I'm wondering if the Red on the Zed is like the Green on the focus RS...by that i mean that in a picture the green RS looks ok but on seeing them up close the green paint looks so much deeper.

I noticed that one too...looking at spec, milegae and condition it looks a little over priced when compared to the Red one at the dealers.

Hi there, After a deal falling through in November last year on a rather nice Black 56 plate with alezan leather I'm back on the hunt for a 350z, I'm searching autotrader and pistonheads like a maniac and have found a couple that tick most of my boxes but i thought it might be worth posting what I'm after on hear on the off chance someone is considering selling up or knows of a decent Zed for sale that might have slipped through the net, I have a realistic budget and am confident I can get what I want within my budget. Ideally I would like a 313GT in black with frost or Alezan leather and sat nav....although I like the look of the aftermarket sat nav I have seen on here so if that fits a 313 then a car with factory sat nav might not really matter....I know it's a long shot but I'd REALLY like a white 313 with black leather. I do like the grey and have recently had my head turned by a red 313 so would not rule them out but I'm not a fan of the bright blue, midnight blue, bronze and as much as I like the look of the temper orange it yell's 'I'm heading towards 40 and want people to still look at me' so that's off the short list. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

Morning all, I'm on the hunt for a 350 and found this one on auto trader, red usually isn't my colour but have to admit wihen the sun came out yesterday it suddenly became more appealing. Does anyone know it? or better still is anyone near the garage and might have stopped to have a quick look only i live a considerable treck from Manchester and have experience of a dealer telling me a car is mint only to spend a day driving to view and find it is a dog. Where on earth have you been looking? autotrader has GT spec 313 cars for 14 to 15K and in a few cases even less than that. Thanks to the ever increasing fuel prices and the £435 road tax it's very much a buyers market for the 350z.

my money would be on this one , however you should be able to haggle a bit of this price safety net of dealer too vs private I was thinking 14k, I'll be calling tomorrow. Just went and had a look at it this afternoon. Very nice looking car but no tax and due it's P3 in November, I've told them what I want and what I willing to pay so we'll see what they come back with.

I'm in no rush as I have my work horse diesel focus to get me about and the wifes golf GT which is quite good fun so I'll wait for the right one to come along but it's just annoying that when I was considering the Zed along with a few other makes (Clio V6, Evo Tommi Mak) there seemed to be plenty around that I liked and now I have finally decided to go with the Zed I can't seem to find the right spec at the right price. I've had a look through the classified on here and there iwere not any 06 models I could see. My 2 Ideal scenario's are black with orange leather, sat nav, full history and lots of tax and MOT left or no black leather but cheap enough to allow me to ge the plate I want and a retrim in red leather. I could always wait it out until a 313 with the above falls into my price range.

I was thinking the same regarding price, I've been in touch with the owner today and said my budget is 12.5k (which seems the right price to me) but he is set on 13k minium which I'm not keen on paying, especially as the tax is due and it has been on sale for a month. I asked about the exhaust as it didn't look standard but I'm told by the owner that it is. Oh well, back to autotrader and pistonheads.....

The thinking behind the GT4 is that I still get the 296bhp kick without the pain of parting with over £400 on road tax, plus it leaves me with a couple of quid for mods, I fancy having the seats, gear stick, hand brake and bottom part of the steering wheel retrimmed in dark red much like the 370z dark edition and I can get a private plate I have had my eye on too.

Afternoon all, I'm on the hunt for a Zed and have been looking at the 06 models onwards but have found a nice looking 05 plate GT4 which I understand has the same engine as the 06 model ie 296bhp, on top of that it has a friendlier price tag but I was wondering what other difference there may be? I understand it is a personal choice but I'd be interested to know what peoples preference between the two models would be and why. Although I have not seen a GT4 in the flesh I much prefer the look of the standard rays on the 06 model, should I but the GT4 and want to buy the 06 wheels are these easy to come by and what sort of money would I be looking at for a tidy set? Many thanks chaps. PS - I'm no spring chicken at almost 36 years old and I'm excited like a small child on Christmas eve at the prospect of getting a tasty car again....I even woke up in the night full of the joys about what I'm going to do with it....tragic but true!
