  3. I paid around £50 for a CTEK MXS 5.0 just before Christmas but I can't find one for that price now. Great piece of equipment though. ETA It's what all the professionals use

  6. :yes: There are some very nasty things in graveyards which become apparent when the soil is disturbed. I once designed a school extension bordering a church graveyard and there were lots of tests to be done as we were excavating for the foundations.

  11. @SHEZZA @Whitevanman Ref. above posts: I do feel your pain and thanks for your contributions to this thread. I too used to work in construction and totally understand what you are saying. Thankfully, I'm now retired (and in a risk group due to age) so my days currently are not too different to what I've been doing for the last two years. The government have just announced measures to help the self employed and I trust that will ease your worries, but I started this thread to celebrate the good things that are happening right now so that we can help each other to see light at the end of the tunnel. I really do think that this disaster will bring the best out in most people and that we can all work together to make that happen. Rant over and hope all Zedders come through this.
  12. @Whitevanman No. 5 In 1255 Henry III declared that Lincoln Cathedral be rebuilt following a disastrous fire. In 1311 thanks to the wooden and lead spire on the central tower, the Cathedral became the tallest building in the world. For 237 years the Cathedral stood until disastrously, the central spire collapsed in 1548.

  14. Just come in from an afternoon in the garden ... I managed to scarify the lawn and then gave it the first cut of spring ... weeding the borders next which is a PITA but has to be done
