Just got some figures from the previous owner of my new-to-me Porsche 997.2 Turbo Standing quarter mile 11.02 @ 131.42 0 to 60 mph 3.02 0 to 100 mph 6.64 Vmax 197mph (and still climbing) I love my Porsche

Both are good tyres of course but IMO you'd be better off with MPS4S. Tyreleader had a good price when the pound was up at 1.2 Euro recently.

Please note that the nomenclature can be confusing. The MPS4 is a different tyre to the MPS4S. Your original question asks about MPS4s which, strictly, is the plural of MPS4. Do you mean MPS4 or MPS4S ? That could explain the difference in cost you noted.

Checks go like this: 1) Is the knock heard at low speeds when going over small bumps in the road ? 2) Does the noise stop when you left foot brake whilst maintaining your slow speed over said bumps ? If so you have a banana bar (compression rod) ball joint failure The problem cannot be diagnosed in any other way AFAIK and that's why most mechanics can't help unless they have come across the problem previously.
