  1. Makes you wonder why they did away with the T-Bar of the Z32. I suppose in a real world these days no one wants to be left with 2 pieces of glass you have to manually remove.
  2. It's an interesting read, I have read it before.
  3. Beast! I'm too pussy to take my bike test although I do want to do it.
  4. 22 Black Editions is quite impressive! Surely that's the majority of the 370 owners on this site somehow not so exclusive
  5. Because loads of people bought them then realised the running costs were astronomical! Quite a few downgraded from R35s to R43s due to the running costs. Get a video up of the exhaust mate, would love to hear it.
  6. Correction, OEM dual mass flywheel for the Zed is £295, unless you actually go to Nissan, then you will pay £1K ZMANALEX's thread... viewtopic.php?f=157&t=31543 But if it's maintained doesn't it usually go through main dealers? I'm assuming main dealer replacement here. Of course this is all if it is a lease car.
  7. One of the many, many benefits of living in the best part of the UK Well let's be fair there's not much else to look forward to up there
  8. That is actually pretty cool.
  9. I take it the car was maintained under the lease agreement then? Sounds like it would have been expensive, as said the dual mass flywheels cost a bomb!
  10. I don't know about welding up a cracked head due to compression, just guessing but I would either chance it with a scrapped one or go through a Volvo specialist there are bound to be some around especially considering the age of the car, good luck
  11. S3 at 19 years old, very impressive!! I had a fiesta 1.4 sport. lol i had my mini cooper s jcw bbr +1 i had a R reg 106 diesel. It's not fair, my brother owns this at 21: and had an R32 GTR at 20 the little bugger.
  12. Lol! No not really, that nose kinda looks like the monkey has a dick for a nose. I hope the Mclaren does well this season. I think Pirelli tyres will work quite well for Jenson as well as they're set to disintegrate quicker and Jenson knows how to work tyres. Of course I'm hoping Lewis has a good season as well.
  13. Where abouts are you mate? Despite the comments I think a Black Edition meet is a good idea, it would be interesting to see how many Black Editions we can get together. Of course other 370/350s would be more than welcome. Don't feel disheartened by the banter.
  14. I agree, not like it's even a proper sport anymore, just a joke of a sport that's more about money than the game.
  15. upside down? there is a kids safe socket protector thing in if thats what you mean worrying the fact you noticed that and not that there is something else obviously wrong Like the boobs?
  16. It should have! Hope the roof is any easy fix mate, good job the car wasn't in there!
  17. Ah useful, as long as it's okay, I know insurance companies can back out of anything but it's not my fault their database is clearly incorrect! I'll take your word for it, nice one mate
  18. Saw a nice black 370Z Roadster in the John Lewis car park in Cardiff last night. That car park was not made for 370's, I literally have 5 cm either side of my wheels when going through the barriers! Anyways, anyone from here?
  19. I only just put my 370 back on the road, got my insurance documents through and they show the engine capacity as way off: Without calling them as I'm about to drive home, would this have any bearing on the price of my premium?
  20. Fair play Australia has only been in the news for the horrendous weather, it looks savage. The girlfriends' parents were telling me about the time they went over there about 10 years ago and couldn't get over why all the cars looked like they'd been punched, turns out they had hail stones come down the week before between the size of golf balls and bigger.
  21. Quartz looks much more stealth like I think you'll find, and thats how the 40th Edition was originally intended In all seriousness, Quartz is a lot easier to keep looking clean. I have found that road salty water dries about the same colour as Quartz meaning you can leave it longer between washes and it will looks ok Haha of course it is Although I have to agree about keeping it clean. I can wash mine, take it out for a 5 minute spin and it's dirty again, now was not a particularly good time of year to pull the Zed out from it's winter hibernation! For that reason alone Quartz wins.
  22. Do you work in the EU courts by any chance? Just joking I would definitely be down for a Black Edition get together with the other Zeds. Might have to consider the Wales meet seeing as I live in Wales
  23. I heard on the radio this morning the reason this was 're-listed due to a non-serious bidder' was because a 7 year old kid pressed the 'Buy it now'
