  1. Seriously though, this is what car clubs should be all about.
  2. Probably the quietest area for meets (ie never), which is a shame because the East anglia member list is massive! Nothing to stop anyone organising one though. I keep meaning to but never seem to get round to it.
  3. I did wave but dunno if you saw. Was there a meet going on in sunny hunny? Or just out for a drive?
  4. I'm only in Downham Market myself but hardly ever see another Zed. I was at Marham for 9 years.
  5. 370z in Wells-next-the-sea. I was parked outside the Globe pub and sitting enjoying a drink in the sun and you drove past and slowed to have a look at the Zed. Anyone on here? Ginger 350z flashed me leaving Hunstanton in a convoy with a few Skylines, GTR etc Anyone here? I thought about turning round and chasing you down
  6. So your having TWO birthdays this year??!! I did here you was a bit of a Queen.
  7. From what I've seen and read, making it more free flowing gives more power and reduces boost and temps making it a bit safer. The trade off is that you loose a little torque due to the reduced boost. My set-up is VERY free flowing due to the Kinetix SSV Inlet Manifold, Decats and True Dual Exhaust. I think thats why my power is relatively high compared to my torque. Mine boosts at 9psi. Your Torque is very good due to your 3.12 pulley giving you high boost but I suspect your power is low in comparison because of restricted flow. If your tune was done with OEM CATs in place I suspect that you'll get a good 20-30hp extra if remapped with decats. You may loose a little torque though. Another factor may be that with the extra boost and higher temps the timing might be held back a bit to avoid any Det. What boost do you see with the 3.12 pulley?
  8. I would agree with using copper while trying new engine mods and for tuning, from a sacrificial point of view as they will melt before the pistons do, but once properly tuned and known to be running well why not use a better plug that you don't have to change every 10k.
  9. If it does it while holding steady revs there could be a problem, so keep an eye on it. Check your oil before you leave work. Do you know what oil was put in it at your service?
  10. +1 It'll sit around 40 ish at idle, 60ish when cruising and over that when jiving it WOT. Nothing to worry about. But you should regularly check your oil level anyway.
  11. Uprev tuning is the remapping of the stock Nissan ECU. No "chip" is fitted. And yeah, Abbey Motorsport do do this. Have a search for Uprev.
  12. For a stock DE engine= Denso IKH16 or equivalent in another make. Iridium plugs are just better all round. They give a better spark then the platinum ones and tend to be cheaper too. or look here viewtopic.php?f=157&t=44399 and I'm sure other traders sell them too.

  14. There's not really much more to add that hasn't already been said. It's really just all personal opinions. Forget N/A power. For the same money as chasing an extra 20hp you can get an FI setup and get 100hp. If you like the progressive nature and predictability of an N/A then a Supercharger will suit you best. It follows the same Torque/Power curves as the N/A, just higher up the scale. If your gonna keep the stock engine then 400-450hp can be had reliably. As a ROUGH guide for the more popular S/C - Stillen supercharger= twin Screw type, mounted ontop of engine, most like an OEM fit (the one Nissan would have used) Sounds the best with a 'mad max' whine, need a after-market bonnet to accommodate, realistic/reliable power= 360 - 380hp. HKS = Centrifugal type, mounted where air intake is, Mounting bracket quite factory looking, realistic/reliable/reliable power= 380 - 400hp Vortech = Centrifugal type, Mounted where air intake is, Mounting plate looks a bit DIY, Sounds like a Jet engine with a BOV, realistic/reliable power = 400 - 450hp If you like excitement/unpredictable-ish sudden boost of power then Turbo is the way to go. I can't tell you much about the different turbo kits for the Zed because I decided on S/C. Turbos are more exciting than Superchargers because of the massive increase of torque when the boost comes on line and because of that they feel faster even if they only have the same power. I personally went for the supercharger because I liked the predictability of the linear power curve and because I'd come from 5 years with a Twin Turbo Supra so fancied a change. In my opinion, the 350z is too slow as an n/a. I'd wanted one for years but every time I test drove one I found it underwhelming and craved for more. It was only after joining this site I read about FI for them and decided that would be the way to go. After looking into buying an N/a and doing the work myself, one came up for sale that had already been done. I decided to go and look at it/drive it just to see if it was defiantly what I wanted to do. When I saw the receipts for the work carried out I realised that it made much more sense to buy it rather than build it, so I did. Saying that I've still spent ££££'s getting it to how I wanted it. But I love it !!
  15. Really like that Looks like the forza Motorsport one on the Xbox.
  16. Just going out the door now, but will put my 2p in when I get back later.
  17. These are really good. Just watched a few more on youtube, I really like their version of Karma Police.
