  1. Hi John, As said its worth getting a proper geometry set up. I've tried several places over the years (not in the Zed yet though) and the only one I would recommend is Wheels In Motion http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/wheels-alignment.php Unfortunately its a bit of a drive. Could also be slightly low rear tyre pressures. This would normally wear both inner and outer edges but if you've got a bit of camber on your car it'll effect the inner more. How many miles does your Zed have? Could very well be a worn bush or two. A geo check should highlight it.
  2. Lookin' good. So did you have the whole wheel painted/powder coated, rather than the polished rim?
  3. Yep 4 confirmed dead now RIP to the 3 lads and one lady that lost their lives going to work. Thoughts are with the friends and family they left behind. Its about time the oil companies, Rig owners and helicoptor operators put their hands in their MASSIVE pockets, scrap all these old sh**ers and buy some decent choppers. A fleet of S92s would be great. As said, they all have their problems, but they have a better reputation and are so much more comfortable to be in. Unfortunately I hardly ever get to travel in them. All the others are just small, cramped and uncomfortable, as well as still not being safe after 2 - 3 years of extra inspections, modifications etc.... I don't think it'll stop me going to work, but I love aircraft and flying, and sometimes enjoy the chopper to work but I don't think I'll be able to relax at all anymore.....its just getting too common.
  4. 5 psi in a tyre makes a massive difference to the feel and handling of the car! Pump your tyres up, most people have them a little higher than the recommended pressure on the zed. Stick 36 in them and adjust up and down accordingly to how it feels. You may need to have different pressures front and back, so bare that in mind.
  5. Pm me a price for the dba rear discs please Adrian. May be interested.
  6. Hi and There are a few us us in Norfolk /East Anglia. I'm sure we can have another little get together in the not too distant future.
  7. I've had one of these from rutland fitted for a while too..... Come to think of it, I think mine dribbles slightly as well.... .... At least I've never had to empty it! Lol auto emptying. I should check it for cracking though.
  8. Yeah, polished charge pipe and 3.12 pulley to go on yet. But as Adrian said I'll need to sort out a tuning session with mark when I fit them.
  9. Purchased a few bits from Octet, one of which was the Rare JDM harness cover. Had a spare 10 mins, so fitted it. Not yet cleaned and polished as I'll be in there again in the near future adding a bit more.
  10. How will that help when you are flashed from the side to be let out at a junction? +1 You need 4 cameras now to be any use at all.
  11. So what is your exhaust and cat set up? And what codes are you getting?
  12. Aftermarket exhausts and/or High flow cats/decats allow more gas flow which can cause the O2 sensor fault codes. What is your exhaust set up? What codes is it throwing up? You can get O2 sensor spacers (from ZmanAlex) that can cure it 90% of the time. Give us the answers to the above questions and we will see if we can help.
  13. Oh dear. :-( that doesn't sound promising.
  14. Love it! I would buy it.
  15. To be fair, Cat warning light could be nothing to worry about.... ......but if you suspect a blocked CAT I would not be driving the car let alone 'booting it'. If hot gasses cannot exit the engine freely it will end badly!
  16. to the club. Good to see you using it properly. I can't comment on yellowstuff pads as I've not used them. I use Ferrodo DS2500 Pads which I would recommend and also DBA T3 Discs, RBF600 fluid and HEL braided brake lines. I am yet to experience any fade, overheating or spongy peddle on track with that set up.
