Good ain't it. Have you had many glitches? The sound occasionally blips out as well as the under map glitch I experienced the other day.

Cheers, Will. I must have missed that post, but reading the article, it doesn't seem a simple fix.

Update - I leak tested my intake and hoses etc and found a couple of issues - The first one could be a gasket issue, but the second two looks like the welds have given up after too many heat cycles maybe. The one on top is just a pin hole and the one at the boss seems like a small crack. They are not massive leaks, but using a tyre inflater to pressurise the plenum It won't hold more than 10psi and within 5 seconds of turning it off the pressure has gone. I don't know how long they've been there, so don't know if its my only issue but it's one I must address first. I just hope the leaks haven't been there for some time, and maybe caused it to run lean causing more serious issues. Now do I get my lovely blingy plenum re-welded....or put a stock one on for now.......

I played a couple of hours of BF4 last night, it was a bit buggy. In on one particular map if I laid down, I went under the map and under water which was a bit weird and annoying. But I didn't notice anything else. I still thoroughly enjoyed it and it looks and sounds great. I love the way if a grenade or explosion goes of near you a few seconds later it rains earth and shrapnel down around you. So last night was my first night on it. Kinect - bit too big for my liking and the cable going to it is too short and too thick. This means I'm gonna find it very difficult to have it central as I have a wall mounted TV above a fire place and all AV equipment is to one side. I was hoping I could mount it on the mantelpiece below the TV, but the size of it means it doesn't fit there and the cable is too thick and too short to go in the conduit anyway. I currently have it sitting on the Xbox to one side of the room and that seems to work fine for now for signing in and playing non kinect based games. I think I'll be a case moving it to the center on a small table when I play anything motion based, which is a bummer. TV - Sky HD box plugged in though xbox as recommended, and I like the idea of easily flicking between the two and it works quite well. However, the quality has degraded quite a bit. Movement or any kind of camera panning is pretty stuttery. Bit dissapointing so I will be removing the tv input from the xbox. Hopefully it'll get sorted with updates one day The above is on a 55" LED screen and also all running through an AV receiver. Forza - is brilliant. I've only done a few races, but cant believe the step up in realism in the way the car feels and handles. The way it goes light over crests, fishtails when you run out of talent and traction changes on the different surfaces is epic. VERY impressed. Love the new in cockpit view, you can actually still see the track, and for the first time that is now my view of choice, instead of the old bonnet view, which gives it a much more realistic feeling. Sound is very good too. In summary - Gaming is very impressive , the rest of it has disappointed me slightly, but I love the idea of it and hope some software updates in the near future will sort it, as I think it would work well as the 'hub' of the living room as advertised.

Well, I cracked and ordered one this morning. Arriving Thursday. I'm getting it with Fifa and BF4 but want Forza as well. Can you download whole games from the market place? Or do you all use the discs? I like having something physical for my money but can't help thinking that the electronic copy lends itself to the voice activation etc so you don't have to get up to change discs. What do you do? Disc or download?

Gutted for you mate.

God I'm sooo tempted right now. I know I'm gonna get one at some point, just dunno whether to wait a month or two or get one next week when I get home. I must admit I'm a little disappointed that it isn't a 3D BR like they initially said it would be, as that's the reason I gave the wife for needing it.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport - http://www.tyre-universe.co.uk/michelin-pilot-super-sport-225-45-zr18-el-normal-tyre.html Probably the best tyre currently on the market and at a very good price at the moment. Would highly recommend them as would many others on here. But beware that putting grippy tyres on the fronts only, will change the feel/handling of the car. If you still have RE040 on the rear (poor grip) you will almost definitely find it will oversteer when pushing it. I'm not saying don't do it as if you drive to the conditions you'll be fine, but I would recommend putting the Super sports on all four corners.

Man that sucks after such a short ownership. Sorry to hear it. Quite a few traders that can help you, good luck. Was there any noises or signs of problems before hand?

As above, I use Fuchs Titan Race 5W 40 as it gives a little more head room at the hot end on track.

Cheers Bennett, Na no smoke, and never drinks any oil. Its definitely down on power, any accelerating at all and it feels flat and sounds rough. I do have a compression tester and will do that along with the inlet leak test and coil pack swap out. Haven't done the TB or idle resets either. This is what I was going to suggest you try. Literally just had a similar sounding problem with my DE mis-firing & traced it to a faulty coil pack. Replaced it and it's running great now. As above, will try swapping them out one at a time with another. I have tested them all at the connector and all read the same, however, I assume the connectors aren't directly connected to the coil and go through some sort of circuit. Also they are not under load when tested.

First post edited with a bit more info. Anyone know the best way to do a DIY boost/vac test? I was thinking of getting some bungs for the exhaust and inlet and using a pump to pressurise the inlet manifold and soapy water around all joints, hoses ect... Anyone done anything similar? Also gonna get another coil pack to try swapping them out one at a time to eliminate one of them breaking down under load.

Thanks for the input. Yeah I believe I have. Not heard of any issues with that before, what makes you suggest that?
