+1. This forum is free and there is a wealth of information in here...for someone non technical like myself. If only i have known about this forum before i have spent a fortune on the Zed. It's a must join forum for all Zed newbie. It's an uncool and harsh comment sketch.

They are definitely in the list of good garages. Can't fault them at all..very good customer service and they obviously know what to do with the Zed. If only they are a bit closer to me or vice versa. Been there a few times now...very impress.

Try R35Lee or Zmanalex. They will definitely have some.

Put it this way, they are not going to get much if they put in a claim for repair of their vehicle..u get at least 5grand from personal injury claim. Especially in our case, there is no damage to the third party vehicle, so the only other option to make quick cash is by falsifying claims for personal injury. My NISMO N1 bumper was only on for 3 weeks at that time..band spanking new. That did really pi**ed me off.

Dene..i am going thru exactly the same problem. Ran into the back of someone on Xmas eve..it was barely an impact. There was no damage to the third party's 4x4. He stopped his car all of a sudden when the red lights went green and the rear windscreen was heavily tinted. So there was no where else i could go and the impact was imminent. Being the person at the back, you are always at fault. He got out of the car and he looked fine to me and he said in the christmas spirit not to worry. Guess what found out he has put in a claim for personal injury to both him and his wife. His wife wasn't even in the car at that time. My insurance company is dealing with this at the moment, don't think they have got very far. My insurance company said they tend to be at the losing end as you can't substantiate an injury claim. Talking about some people not having guilty conscience. Well what goes around comes around some day.

That's exactly how i want mine to look like. Let me know if you have no further use for it anymore..would be happy to pay for packaging & postage etc. Cheers matey.

Unfortunately i am not very good with DIY and I haven't got the tools and hardwares. Any idea where could i get things like this made? Does your number plate bracket fits into the tow eye?

I am looking for a number plate bracket that u could attach to the tow eye a bit like the one that nrenz123 came up with. Anyone know where i could get hold of one?. I have a NISMO N1 front bumper..don't like the look of the square box in the centre..thinking of putting the number plate over this. Mike

That's not how to look after ANY car. Why bother getting a nice car in the first place. That poor Zed deserves a better home and owner.

what about the gritters on the motorway...there's no where else you could go.

It's standard on UK models. U can't see it when the boot is shut. All you could see is the strut bar with the Z logo.

It might be the one with LED daytime running lights though..the new A4. Think A5 is nicer. Would consider trading the Zed for an A5 or the new 3 series coupe/hard top convertible.

No the Bridgestone RE050 are supposed to be better and more expensive than the RE040. Have a look on Camskill and it gives you an idea of the price.
