  1. Orange have just annouced they will be prviding the iphone soon.... Don't know when soon is though.
  2. Mine was similar when I got it although a little older and a few less K miles. Basically I went for the P3 service and had the coolant flushed and changed the plugs myself. Some will say its overkill but now i know all is fresh and new and has been thoroughly checked over. Service and sparks was less than £400 so its value for money I reckon For me it was all about piece of mind...
  3. The prices in west London seem to have now been steady for about 4 months... A couple of people I know who have been looking to buy have missed out because houses are now starting to sell above the asking price. Looks like things are slowly on the move up but it may just be a temporary thing, are we really coming out of the downturn or is it just a blip/media BS?
  4. I was not a big fan of that colour interior until I actually saw one in the flesh, pictures don't do it justise and it really is much nicer than I thought.
  5. Been looking into this a bit more and was playing with some satnavs on display at Tesco last night. On tomtom you can do advance planning (so it will show you a route from A-B without a sateliite lock) but the Garmin I was fiddling with last night didn't seem to do that, Can anyone confirm if Garmins don't have advance planning or if it was just because it was a cheap one?
  6. well the wheeze new minis make is the electric power steering. Although I don't think that helps you much
  7. On Saturday I spotted someone in their sunset Coupe in Hounslow near the bus station. None standard wheels. Anyone on here?
  8. Thanks for all your thoughts people. I've looked at Nurrish's system and it looks fantastic but its got a whole load of stuff I would never use so for me its not worth the extra outlay. Looks like I will be spending some time at halfords at the weekend
  9. £5k for a respray could be true, if its a full proper respray and a very good job. (if you think if they stripped off all the bumpers, took the engine out, removed the roof etc, rubbed it all down, repaired whatever the damage was, its a big old job!) Wheels however are not worth £3500, maybe its a typo and should say £350
  10. Have you ever tried the others? This seems to be the problem I am having you see, everyone who has a tomtom says tomtom, Garmin and Navman likewise. People seem to stick with a brand...
  11. So I'm going to get me a sat nav and do a semi permanant install in the cubby but I can't decide which make of satnav. I have tomtom on a pda so I was going to stick with the brand but other makes seem to be better value and get good reviews. So anybody got experience of Tomtom vs Garmin vs Navman? I've got between 150-200 quid to spend so I was looking at tomtom XL IQ Europe or an equivalent. For the same price I can get a Garmin or Navman with RDS traffic updates but I hear mixed reviews on that... I'm also pretty technically savvy so I don't I'm not so fussed about it being easy to set-up or anything I just want it to give me good routes!! Edit: forgot to add, there is no way I'm paying £7 a month for tomtom traffic updates, I don't drive enough to justify it. Cheers all
  12. lol! didn't want to offend! Blimey, deeper darker fenland
  13. Its deepest darkest Fenland! (east Anglia about 15 miles from Peterborough) Flat as you like and quite a long way from anywhere. Don't worry, you've not missed much Edit: Sorry didn't mean to be rude about March! Its a nice little country market town. Edit: Didn't mean to be rude about the Fens either, my family are all Fenlanders and I grew up just a few miles from it too
  14. Nothing to do with me but my girlfriend grew up in March and her family mostly still live there. So I can occasionally be found there! Sorry for going off topic but its not very often you see references to March on the internet!
  15. I was driving around the Goodwood area on Sunday morning and as it was Revival this weekend there were sports cars everywhere. More S2000s, Z4 and Boxsters than you could shake a stick at but not a single Z. Where is everybody? As a side note there were loads of fantastic vintage cars about, some really stunners. I really should go to a Goodwood event one year...
  16. I voted performance but its more than just that. The 350 is an all rounder. Performance, comfort, value, reliability, practicality (well sort of), handling and yes looks too. IMHO my old VX220 was the most visually impressive car I have ever owned and had good performance but it had to go as it ticked too few of the other boxes...
  17. When I was looking they had loads on their website, when I rang they had 1, and it was a high miler too. When I asked if I could have a look and maybe a test drive I was told they were too busy and don't generally allow test drives. Needless to say I didn't pay them a visit
  18. Its all relative. Compared to a heavily modded supra the 350z is slow. Compared to most hot hatches its quick. I've come from a VX220 and although that was lightning quick off the mark it soon ran out of puff. After about 60 in a straight line the 350 would be soon leaving the VX, on a track the story would be quite different I suspect though. For me the nice flat torque curve of the 350 makes it feel pretty rapid once moving, the weight makes it feel a bit slow off the mark on occasions and seriously effects how late you can brake though. Is it fast? - yes Is it a good overtaker? - yes Do you need anything faster on the roads? - probably not Is there quicker out there? - of course Does it look good? - oh yeah Does it handle well? - for a car of its size and weight yes it does Will you be grinning at the end of your drive? -
  19. Its definately happening but how long it will last I don't know. About 6 months ago I looked into selling my 2005 colt, it was worth about £4000 on a private sale. I just sold my 2005 colt back to a dealer for £4800. Result
  20. I just got my 54 azure with 22K on the clock for £12.5K, but it needed a service which was another £350. I was having similar problems and was struggling to find many cars in what seemed to be a good price bracket, then this one popped up on pistonheads and its lovely If you don't like the price walk away. You may have to travel further afield to get the right car. I had a 1.5hour drive each way to view mine and it was well worth it!
  21. As I understand it its meant to go P1, P2, P1, P3, then repeat. 5 years is also due a coolant change and maybe spark plugs too. Check your service manual for all the details though. Its all there... I got my P3 plus coolant change done at Bishops Nissan in Guildford for £350ish.
  22. Close enough, particularly as you loti owners always waved at me in my VX! Its habit now though and I keep waving at them in my Zed S1 Exige
  23. When changing the brake fluid they won't drain it out to refill it. They'll probably use a pressurised system on the bleed nipples to draw it through. Even if you are using a different type of fluid as I understand they are compatible with each other and the different colours will make it obvious when all the new fluid is through (so clearing out the old). they are talking nonsense or they don't know what they are doing...
  24. Really? They seemed great, maybe I got lucky!
  25. Sorry no but its pretty straight forward. Yes I went for Irriudium ones. I didn't have a big enough spanner to undo the brace and I was concerned about torquing it back up properly. It really didn't make that much difference though. Would have only made the job shorter by 5 mins max for not having the brace there...
