  1. I got a beast of a deal from eurocarparts on a battery for my car. Exide Premium 030. Think it was about 90 quid or thereabouts. Absolute monster of a battery.
  2. Can you get canards made which will fit the nismo bumpers?
  3. Yes that is the general consensus. Once you see the oil warning light its too late. Fingers crossed its not damaged but you won't know. Recently we've had a lot of bottom ends failing due to oil starvation. What I mean is what type of 5w30 fully synthetic?
  4. out of interest what oil are you buying for it?
  5. Unfortunately by this time the damage is already done. You should have listened to us when we said don't drive it!!
  6. leave the car to sit and completely cool! It will be much easier to read with thick cold oil.
  7. You have low oil. Do not run the engine at all!!! This could be fatal to the engine. This is why oil should be checked every week or so. If you had watched threads on here theres been a large amount of engine failures over the last few months due to this.
  8. bit catty? Alot of MSP's are highly educated and feel this would be better for Scotland. I think they want to make it like Canada. Not at all. Maybe you know some but in my circle of friends, aquiantances and family, not one wants independence. Nothing catty about it. If you think so then please feel free to explain why.
  9. Generally it is good natured banter, sometimes it gets much more than that. I still remember a bunch of English guys I was with on safari in Kenya years back, we found a shack with a TV to watch England vs Greece. There were a couple of Scots in there as well and they cheered loudly when Greece scored and we laughed along wryly, when we equalised a Scottish girl who was in our travelling group said we shouldn't cheer because the guys behind us wanted to hit us for it. Of course the roof went off when Beckham smashed in that equalizer, they never attacked us but we got all the evil stares you can imagine. But it got to that point, that we could not cheer our own country scoring a goal in football? That's not banter, that's bordering on racism driven violence. In other words, utter bell ends. Its not our fault we're tougher than you southerners
  10. Thanks Colin ... I think I also made a mistake by allowing everyone to see who's voted where ... can you fix this please? As far as I can see everyone can opt to see the votes casted but not by whom I can see who's voted where
  11. I don't know any educated scot which wants independence.
  12. We'll need to get visa's to come in 2015 due to idiot 16 year olds in scotland deciding that we should be independant
  13. You all know my thoughts! Alex salmond is a fanny!

I've spotted a couple over the last week or so! Don't know why its started over here recently. Maybe because this place is getting busier and google is putting us further up there search lists
  15. Fingers crossed it goes mate! Hopefully you'll find somebody with the same car and can just swap over there engine instead of having to fit all the hop ups they have.
  16. My mate has a 1/5th car but I find its too large to run anywhere. I always fancied a proper r/c truck, i.e. a cab from an articulated truck. Watched them down in west country when I was a kid and fell in love with them. They look absolutely amazing!
  17. I've got a couple of hpi rs4 cars, an hpi MT2 3.0 stadium truck, a traxxas truck, couple of tamiya electric cars also. Not had them out in a while tbh. The one I really use just now is the mt2 3.0. Had a couple of servo issues so i've bought new steel toothed waterproof High torque servos to handle a bit more abuse. Bought loads of bits last year but just not had the time to fit yet. All the cars and trucks are running hop up parts etc. Its been that long since i've had them out I can't really remember it all. I looked at buying a jato a few months ago but never bothered as fancy getting into RC jets or helicopters. Theres a club close by that I go and watch from time to time. I wish I had more time to play with them. Expensive game also. I was constantly spending money. Its starting to get cheaper just to bin and buy a new one at some points.
  18. Not many people will buy a second hand engine these days though. You know yourself these engines are fragile if not tuned correctly. For 300ish you will get a traxxas car which will do 70mph + out the box including starters, radio (Which broadcasts speeds and temps to iPhone apps etc). This is what most people look for unfortunately. I understand the money you have put into this but I think you will have issues selling it on at the price you want. Even stripped as parts you won't make that much from experience. Things have moved on very rapidly over the last while with the rc car scene. Its worth a try selling it on ebay but I'm not sure how well you will do. Out of interest, what engine was on it and what happened to it?
  19. Too much money without the engine I'm afraid, especially for a 1/10th scale. Most people would just pay the extra 150-200 quid for a brand new RTR HPI or similar. People don't really bother for all the hop-ups. Same as with the zed, some people like to start with a base and mod it to suit themselves. I myself have quite a few nitro r/c cars.
  20. make sure you fill the bottle right up as mine stopped working and it was because the bottle was empty even though the wipers had water
  21. If u want lower and stiffer just get Eibach springs. Nismo are not worth the money. Get a set of KW v3's and you can adjust to suit yourself. A good set of coilovers will out perform the nismos without issue.
  22. I've got a squeak and I'm not sure if it's the rear damper or the roll cage creaking. Going to get a full overhaul done just for piece of mind. Weathers bad up here now so it's a good time to pull them off.
  23. You too chief!! I can't remember how much toe I'm running. I'll dig out the sheets. The cars set up by AME. I'm actually having zero issues on the 19's with tyre wear but I do find that in the wet the back end is struggling for grip. I'm just about to bring the camber on the rear back a bit to 2.5degree. I'm just about to strip the car down and take the suspension off it to send back to get a once over by KW.
  24. I run 3 degrees front and rear at the moment on the semi slicks
