  1. pmsl theres always a catch haha.
  2. im looking at getting an android phone for when my work moves to google. this will hopefully make life simple and keep it apple free i found this app, i love the new take on an old idea it was designed by people in MIT as part of a challenge to get people android app programming. 1. KEI This method of using your phone to remotely control your car is one of the most unique Android applications developed by the students at MIT. It’s essentially a Bluetooth key which functions as a control for your car so that you can automatically unlock or start the vehicle remotely by using your phone. It’s set up so that you can control one car with multiple phones (for families that share cars) and / or you can control multiple cars with a single phone (for people who have more than one vehicle). KEI requires a simple install device in the car and is designed to eventually be able to read the car’s diagnostic information for you. This is an ideal application for people who always lose their car keys but never forget to take their phones with them. KEI has been a dream of mine for some time. It’s basically a Bluetooth key for all your stuff. In this early version, it was demonstrated as an automatic car starter and unlocker so you don’t have to try to find your car keys all the time. It’s built so that multiple people can control the same car and/or multiple cars can be controlled by a single phone. Security is handled via 128-bit encryption and there will be an administrative interface so you can cut your ex-lover’s access off when the two of you break up. There’s a relatively simple module that gets installed in your car, much like existing remote starter systems work. Future KEI systems would also read diagnostic information from your car as well. didnt quite know where to pop this thread feel free to move.
  3. i have to admit i do absolutely love it
  4. No remorse there, Husky. Very true, though. meh, i dont think i ever watched a whole episode i liked some bits but others were cringe worthy. the factual parts were good and they were good at telling you if a car is actually good. its when they tried to be a magazine show aswell they failed.
  5. they tried to copy topgear too much and failed

  10. Husky it does look crap in person I have seen it close up - there is no shine to it as such - the camera shows it looking brighter than it is but it looks quite flat and well unless I worked for Elton John I would be ashamed to be seen in or near that thng - get it recovered in a nice colour anything bright pink will do.... just looks cheap and tackie!! Oh well Footballers, Carpet Millionares and Chavs ... walk this way Stew - they keep moving the stock round - the only exotic thing they have in there is the Ikea sofa in white leather! (Sums the up really!!) i had in my mind it would look like the polished bare metal jag we have on display... maybe not then EDIT: like so:
  11. sorry i think that looks awesome not to own, just for show... probably crap in person though.

  24. As I said Mike I know what I'm aiming for ..................- my car is no garage queen and I spend around two or more hours a day driving so don't want to be deafened or have my fillings rattled out - I'm more interested in performance and I don't want to know its even there until I hit 3k rpm no point at all then if its for perforamnce reasons. You may as well stay with stock exhaust. Really?!!! Gosh well Milltek & one of our own traders must be talking out their arses then! So are you saying the Milltek has no better flow or larger tubes than stock? I know that the ECu will re-adjust itself pretty quickly - but as my other plans include spacer and re-tune I think perhaps we should just reserve judgment don't you?
