Lots to read up on the interweb tbh. I had the exact same choice to make and asked some TV expert freinds, i was told to go for a top qualtiy LCD as the LED tech is so new, as fiddy says. personally I opted for the top end panasonic LCD in 42", its muchos good

could you replace it with a high power LED one? I dont think theres a legal limit on the light level of it so you could have a spotlight if you felt like it

sorry In mine you change to clock using the top one, then hold the bottom? button down untill it flashes, then repeatedly press untill you have the right number. please do it when stationary though
