So I cleaned the area up and left it overnight to dry. Masked off the area. Cut a section of card to use for smoothing the bead. Placed some sealant on the old trim to secure it back in place. Filled the missing section. Smoothed the bead. Removed the tape.

So the seal on the driver's side was starting to look a little worse for wear compared to the passenger side.

I almost lost a boot popper spring the other day. Fell out when I opened the boot. Opentop and OEM ones have a tendency to rotate about a bit so just keep an eye on the sneaky little buggers

Hopefully it's dry and not raining tomorrow and I'll get under my car and take a photo of mine at that same place behind the backbox

Scorpion wouldn't offer lifetime warranty without being confident with their products. The fitter should get that rectified for you when you go back. My local Scorpion dealer is also part of the LONGLIFE custom exhaust group. When the LONGLIFE exhaust was blowing on my wife's car between the midpipe and midpipe resonator, it was fixed no questions asked despite the exhaust being fitted about 8 years ago as they said it had a lifetime warranty . Ps. I went for the same exhaust and the Scorpion y-pipe a few years ago too

Watching the poor Zed getting abused off road was painful!

They be looking most excellent Now get some clear vinyl wrap on them to prevent oxidation spoiling all your hard work! Otherwise even the pants British Summers will have the oxidation back more times than Arnie and the Terminator franchise

Don't leave the fold even though the Zed has. Maybe start a new thread on your new car. I saw hints of it on Facebook and it does look exceedingly good

Does look like a special Zed. Even cosmetically has alot of presence with the US spec N1 skirts which look so much beefier and meaner.......never seen them before in the flesh EVER😎. Not to mention those wheels. Would be fantastic if this works out to be the car to bring you back to Zed life
