    Headlight tinting

I have seen lights tinted but with the beam pattern masked off/left unwrapped Can look ok with darker headlights but the best way is to paint the internals
  4. Completely agree Ian. Out of the cars iv looked at this is the only one that's got me excited Only thing concerning me about the reliability issues are that my wife will be the main user and if anything happens when she's with the wee one she would just panic It's not you who put me off- it's everyone else posting in this thread. They were much more positive in mine
  5. I was feeling confident about the 159 until you started this thread
  6. In also thinking if one for the family wagon. A few members with experiences and they didn't put me off Love the way they look especially with the TI wheels http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88284-opinions-on-alfa-159/
  7. Someone's been practising Nice shots mate We were driving back up north at the weekend and the view of Glasgow at night coming up the new m74 is great. Going over the Kingston bridge looking down the river towards the squinty bridge is a nice view as well. A lot of people give me funny looks when I say Glasgow is picturesque
  8. I love that shade of red How about this? Not sure if you saw it on that other thread but it would be right up your street
  9. Saw this one in the flesh and instantly decided that's the best colour for it. Granted this is a project car (search art automotive on here) but it's stunning in the flesh
  10. I was being half serious.... I think If it was me I'd maybe give it a go with low expectations and any result is a bonus
  11. The standard wheels look much better IMO. She will fit in with the mcdonalds car park drivers with them
  12. Don't let stevo d see this- hel be putting on war paint and getting the next flight to canada
  13. The more I look at this the better it gets
  14. The orange is nice. It's not just the wheels that hold it back- for me it's the black bonnet and spoiler on a standard car. Needs to be much more aggressive to pull it off
  15. Matt red. But they'd have to buy me a zed as well
  16. Never been in a touareg but I have in an xc90- it gets good reviews but I wasn't a huge fan. It was my cousins and I was comparing it to his x5 he had previously but the Volvo wasn't a patch on it. Didn't feel anywhere near as solid or as tight as the x5 did You driven either?
  17. No airbag in it. It's basically leather over the raised emblem underneath. Didn't take a photo of the first effort it was that bad but this is miles better Might try ironing it a bit so the emblem looks a bit sharper. With a thin cloth in between so I don't burn the leather
  18. You should've told me earlier he does moulded grips I wanted the skyline emblem stitched into the middle which he said he could do perfectly. He done it by hand though and the result was pretty poor to say the least. But he agreed to redo it without the emblem and let the existing emblem show through Happy with the stitching. The gaitors have white stitching so this ties in but with the extra colour to set it apart. Happy with the result now
  19. Cheers Dave. Can't wait to get it on it smells amazing
  20. That's the old system- auto lights and auto wipers were separate. I think they meant they are now interlinked so the lights come on in heavier rain. But they would still come on as it gets darker
  21. Forgot to post pics of mine Before After
