  1. Envy will prob be +3 Martin (the Marton contingent )
  2. Cheers Chris, I'm at Cark til Monday (going up tomorrow) then got a few days in Marton (near Barrow in Furness) to do some top ups for an existing customer. Beers on Sunday night certainly could work eh Martin Login seems to be working via the 370 route, but the 350 thing is very frustrating. I get to log in, see I have PM etc then booted back to the login screen
  3. Braver than me! IF Liz wants a spruce up Monday btw we can sort that too
  4. Martin, fancy a beer/whisky Sunday night btw?!
  5. ^Hi Chris, still having jip logging in. Just taken me 3 days to read the PM's I've got! Deleted browsing history, cookies, temp internet files and re-started. Martinmac has just suggested going through 370z and voila, here I am but why the hassles please??
  6. Hi Hassan I use a product called Dasheen made by Espuma, spray on wipe off and leaves a nice matt sheen. Looks natural and not all glossy.
  7. Either way is good. I prefer machine as you can get the job done quicker
  8. Its a good product but from speaking to Meguiars at their detailing seminars the Tech wax is a more sophisticated product that produces great beading.
  9. If this was when I think you did it, I loved the drying "towel" I saw you using
  10. ^Yeah good work really looks nice but get some tyre dressing and she'll look complete
  11. At last, after 3 years of forum sponsorship I finally got to break my forum cherry. Garry kindly booked me to detail his Zed! Cheers Garry Garry was booked to be done last year, but rain put pay to that, but we got to do it in the end! A full inside and out protection detail with Envy Valeting Wheels cleaned 1st as usual with AS smart wheels and Envy brushes and EZ detail brush. Protected after with Wolfs Clean and coat WF-1NT. Superb stuff Foamed with Bubbly Jubbly Then washed with Espuma Astro shampoo and dried off ready for the clay (Chemical Guys blue clay) Although strictly a protection detail I gave the car a light once over with Megs 205 as I knew it would work wonders on the soft paint. The wax chosen was SW BOS, seen here baking in the HOT sun! Time to polish the exhausts with Autosol. The interior was hoovered, plastics cleaned and dressed with Dasheen, leather was treated to Dr Leather, glass with Crystal green. Tyres with RD50. Wax was buffed off last to leave her looking like this: Hope you like it, and if you want to book me be happy to hear from you! Best wishes Tim
  12. Another archived detail from the camera. This S2000 was bought as a summer toy and needed some Dodo loving. Wheels cleaned with AS smart wheels and Envy brushes, then cleaned and sealed with Wolfs Chemicals WF-1NT (clean and coat) and makes for a nice quick wheel sealent. Beads nicely too. Time for some Bubbly Jubbly SSF. Followed up with Espuma Astro shampoo, TBM and the trusty Z sponge. Tar remover needed on this one big time. Paint clayed then cleansed with Dodo Lime Prime, ready for the wax. The wax was left on for approx 1hr whilst I did the tail pipes, dressed the tyres, hoovered and cleaned the interior, did the glass etc. Enjoy the afters..... Cheers Tim
  13. Speak to Mark at Autobrite direct and get some Black Magic wax, or I can sell you some Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Pro which will do a good job at hiding the horrors https://www.envyvaleting.com/products_info.asp?id=210
  14. LOL no that deffo was it for the day Paul! I did wonder! With you saying you were trying to claw some time back I thought you we're trying to squeeze another in! Nah, just wanted to get home the same day! Thanks Will, it sure did.
  15. I'm trying to do a bit of catch up on the write ups as the camera is literally rammed but struggling to get time to do them so here is one from a few weeks back. Hope you like it! This lil beauty belongs to a customer of mine who emigrated to Oz, but has decided to return to us and I'm glad to resume doing business with him. He has a big family and as such, the family car is BIG too......this was a real challenge and the interior took as long as the outside! Suncream hands needed to be removed, and also there were other areas I had to machine with my Flex polisher. Great place to work Wheels were attacked with AS Smart wheels, Envy Brushes and a Vikan NSWB. Bubbly Jubbly SSF (2 goes this time!) There was a LOT of tar so used Espuma TGB to make light work of it. Clayed with Chemical Guys blue clay, then onto the hands....Before a machine with FCP (normally I'd use Dodo Lime Prime but it didnt make a dent on these!) After Onto the interior, brace yourselves! A lot of Henry, a lot of APC and a lot of leather wipes and Dasheen got the job done eventually. The car was treated to Werkstatt Prime by the PC, followed by 2 coats of Jett to try to claw some time back on my day. Tyres dressed with RD50, glass with Crystal green. So its not all Ferrari's etc lol, and we're not afraid of a challenge! Best wishes and thanks for looking Tim
  16. Looking good Peter and quick work too Know what you mean about sunburn, well lobstered last week! Glad its cooled down a bit.
  17. Nice one Dobby, not seen a diffuser like that on a GTiR before!
  18. Come on Immy where's the money shots?
  19. Hi Hassan, Not really sure about Sealey machines tbh. They certainly are not a product used much in the trade, so I cant say if thats with good reason (ie could be good/bad whatever!). I looked at the ER1700P as its mentioned above and it says 50% lighter etc but doesnt tell you the weight! My rotary polisher (Metabo) is one of the lighter ones on the market but after 10hrs of wrestling with it on a car I know it still feels damn heavy and you end up with arms like a gorilla. DA machines seem to be a bit lighter but they have a different feel and the vibrations take their toll too. The ER230P, CP2518, ER1512P or the 150P...forget it or if you do buy one dont tell anyone or let it be seen in public! They will deffo not be up to the job. Warranty will be important. My Metabo has a 3yr XXL warranty and I so far have had 2 replacement machines with no quibble at all. The 1st machine died at 2.5yrs old and had HEAVY use, the second was last month and it'd lasted 1.5yrs with a lot less use. Personally I feel you might be better putting your money into another brand such as Kestrel, or the Dodo Juice machines. You'll struggle to find a G220 right now as they are bringing out V2 very soon and there is no more re-stocking in the UK of the old V1 machines. V2 is going to be a lot more money! Best wishes Tim
  20. Wow=new car! Thats some transformation Paul! What did your mates Dad think? How did you get on with snow foam?
  21. ^or maybe Envy Valeting who have had a group buy running for eternity on here The detergent bottles will only give you a soapy dishwater effect, yes it will still clean the car but you wont get the shaving foam effect.
  22. Nice one Craig! Glad you've broken out the beast at last and given your pride and joy a good buffin' Nice no. plate too
