  1. Hi I've got my set of these lovely lights for sale. Takes years off the look of your car. These are in used but are like new as I have no swirls in them at all. £180 + postage
  2. I've got ducting to the inside of the front brake discs to keep them cooler and I'm positive it works but from my GTIR days those cars benefit greatly from a brake master cylinder stopper bracket as the firewall moved when you pressed the brakes. Has anyone bothered to fit one on a 350z? I've got braided lines and RBF600 and the feel isn't as hard as I think they should be.
  3. Does the 4 point brace replace the W brace. Do you think it will all work with the HKS true duel. I am interested in the kit. Thanks
  4. I just finished doing this. I found the guide very usefull and the job was very simple to complete. I found the fuel pump sender was dirty and the other side clean. I've straight away got a quarter of a tank rather than nothing. Thank you for the guide.

I bought C1+ kit, EXO kit, T1, C6, C5, C4, G1 and G4. It was an expensive parcel lol. The paint overall does feel slick but I had noticed after the third coat of C1.5 that the microfibre was grabbing a bit. The sheeting is unmatched though. I am not using EXO on my car untill I have had the front end resprayed as it is quite expensive to waste. The I1 I want just to play with clothes lol A water proof hoodie would be great. Or a super water proof jacket.

I recently bought a range of goodies from these guys including the EXO spray and I am very impressed so far. I have so far used C1+ and C1.5 Silo Seal. Also the G1 window stuff. That was a bit of a nightmare to get off but, it deffinately works a treat. I want to get some of the I1?? For the fabrics at waxstock tomorrow. I dont think I will ever use wax again. I don't see the point. Atleast just now. The light, rear quarter panel, door and side skirt have been done. Its better in person but also to add that after going over it all with my rotary that was pretty much the finish anyway lol. Proof that its all in the prep. The C1.5 did add gloss. Remember the HD button. Cheers
  7. I am only trying to share my real world experiences instead of forum led experiences on the world of detailing. I think that having a nice looking car like the 350z detailed is as important as any other mod like exhaust or wheels etc... Its even better having a professional that is well experienced in doing 350z's like Wasso doing it for you. However not everyone (Detailing companies) shares the high expectations you may have on what a detailed car should be so paying someone to do it is a little risky. Like me you may be left with doing it yourself which is no big issue really but it will take alot longer. Also there is the learning curve which is why a da is good to use. The megs microfibre system is very good and would cut down the time considerably. On the other hand you could forget about all this detailing lark and just do the classic srp and wax and not worry about snow foam and swirls. I wish i had sometimes as it would be easier to not worry about it. It can be a bottemless pit for money if you get too caught up in the hype.
  8. DA is safer as you know and I would have thought you would enjoy doing it to your zed and not be bothered by how long it took. The mOre you put in the more you get out
  9. You could just buy a da and do it yourself. They regularly go on detailing world cheap qith all the pads. It isn't that hard to do
  10. All I can say is theres oil money in Aberdeen. It's because of that I did the golf r32 for a friend who lives in Aberdeen. Considering the amount of hours and hard work involved there would be a minimum amount I'd expect to pay. However nobody realises that so consider £300-500 to be a huge amount. Everyone knows its worth it in the end
  11. I would not trust a soul with a buffer at that price. I guess that you won't get swirl removal at that price. The going rate in south Wales is £300 and in Aberdeen £1400. Go figure
  12. Cheers. I initially polished the headlights but I didn't achieve the results I wanted so I sanded them down. My sanding would be the last resort though.
  13. With summer finally here I had to give the car a clean I machine polished the car over a year ago and through correct washing technique the swirls have never come back Having OCD probably helps lol The gloss is mainly the actual finish of the paint rather than the wax applied My sisters Bora has shocking headlights that I have been wanting to fix for a long time but never had the chance. Friday was the day I finally got to do it. They were that bad that at night you could barely see a thing. I had to wet sand them down to get rid of the badly scoured surface. Original Sanded with 1500 and 2500 wet and dry. Not alot of difference really lol Finally polished out Here is a comparison with the lights on. I had my neighbour asked me to do his matiz headlights after seeing these They were bad but not like those. I didn't get pics of those though. Thanks for looking
  14. Depends on when we get numbers together I can hold them for a deposit if you need to save That would be great. I wouldnt need long.
