  1. Sorry guys, lost the location of this thread..as you can see I've found it now! Right 25 is the max allowed by Meguiars, but there is no harm in a reserve list. If you cant or think you might not make it please take your names off the list as it is a pretty special invite to have. They do it FOC, and as those that will attend will be able to vouch for, out of the goodness of their hearts and love of the product/brand.
  2. It is good stuff. The Autoglym you mention also do a glue and tar remover but that is more of an apply by cloth and rub product. The Espuma is a bit more effective
  3. Would you recommend the black magic or the purple haze? i've been looking at the dodo juice range for a while but i've been using Autoglym's High Definition wax with Autoglyms Ultra Deep Shine on top. The Black magic really IS black so will help, the purple haze is more..well...purple, certainly not as dark as the black magic! If you call autobrite mention Tim at Envy and he may be nicer to you with the pricing
  4. Autobrite to a "Black" wax called Black magic which if you lay it on a bit thick could fill the chips and its very good. Dodo Juice have Blue Velvet and Purple Haze and I have some in my shop
  5. Hi Chris, thats a shot of the panel as the TGB does its stuff. I spray it on, wait a minute or 2 and wipe with a clean MF and its gone.On cars with a LOT of tar its far faster (and cheaper) to remove the tar with a product rather than ruin an expensive clay bar. I then clay after to get the bonded contaminants off. Best wishes Tim
  6. More Envy Valeting protection detailing on the Isle of Man Needs a good clean... Cleaned via the usual method. Wheels with Envy Brushes and Espuma Revolution @ 10:1, foamed with Bubbly Jubbly. Shuts etc cleaned with G202, rinsed and washed with Espuma Astro and the two bucket method. Dried off the de-tarred with Espuma TGB. Clayed with CG blue clay, then paint cleansed with Dodo Lime Prime lite via the PC. Waxed with a current favorite Wax allowed to cure whilst I dressed the tyres with Espuma RD50, polished the tail pipes, glass, interior Swissvax'd. Afters, only 2 as the camera was playing up I'm sorry to say.. and a little Seat from the day after. Process the same as above Best wishes Tim
  7. There was a LOT of it at the Zedfest meet https://www.envyvaleting.com/products_info.asp?id=188
  8. ^yes, done a few V24 powerboats in my time Martin.
  9. Another re-booking from years gone by. Nice to get repeat business I must say The usual Envy wash process. Start with the wheels with Espuma Revolution at 10:1, envy brushes and the faithful ezdetail. Snow foamed with bubbly jubbly, rinsed. Washed with Espuma Astro, tbm, rinsed and dried. Clayed, then cleansed with Swissvax cleaner fluid via the PC. Waxed with Whilst the wax cured the interior was given the full treatment too Enjoy the afters, this was a really enjoyable job. Thanks for looking Tim
  10. I tried to do it in 2 but there was just no way! It took a full 3 days to do this.
  11. Many thanks, you'd be most welcome to
  12. A challenging paint correction detail for Envy Valeting saw me tackle this Range Rover over 3 days (and I needed every minute of them!) Some of you may remember this car from 2008 when I carried out a protection detail on it. This time it got serious Wheels cleaned 1st with Espuma Revolution at 10:1, envy brushes, ez detail and rinsed. Door shuts etc sprayed with Espuma G202. Snow foamed with bubbly jubbly and left to dwell. Rinsed off then washed with Espuma Astro shampoo, tbm and a Z sponge. Rinsed off and dried, then brought indoors. Looks ok But isn't! With the sun gun This is how a car looks when you use a dustpan brush that had previously been used to sweep up broken glass! Car was then measured to make sure we had enough to machine polish, taped up and work began. I tried several polish/pad combo's and settled on Scholl Concepts S17 and a Blue 3m pad for the coarse polish stage. Bonnet looks better Refinement was by way of Ultrafina and a soft black 3m pad. The car was cleaned up, de-dusted, paint cleansed then waxed with Swissvax Best of Show wax. Tyres dressed, tail pipes polished, plastics dressed, glass cleaned and the interior was full detailed too. The afters And proof of the pudding, daylight! Thanks for looking and hope you dont have nightmares! Tim
  13. A side on pic of a BMW according to my memory stick! Weird.
  14. 1st 2 cars from this week for you to oggle. Cars treated the same way, the full wash clay cleanse and wax regime. Interior hoovered and protected. Waxed with Swissvax Scuderia Next up the Disco, this took a LOT of washing, several SSF soaks and a lot of G202. Espuma TGB doing its thing One of the cleaner bits of clay Ready for the wax, CG E-zyme today Waxed bonnet All done Sadly no outdoor pics as we are enjoying the monsoon season Thanks for looking Tim
  15. Evening all. Lucky me, I got to catch the M6 traffic on Friday for all those going to see the Blackpool lights and Robbie Williams Still when I got there I had a lovely meal out with my customers from last year. Thanks very much Peter and family OK so 1st up was a new BMW 1 series that had just been driven here from Germany. Being white I opted to use the jeffs range of products and 2 coats of sealant. Interior was also detailed fully. Please enjoy the pics After Espuma Revolution, and 2 coats of Swissvax Autobahn wheel wax The finished article, not bad for white Next up the little Renault, washed and waxed with Swissvax Saphir and hoovered out. Not a full detail here. Last but not least, a top up on the evo I corrected last year. I'm so glad to say it was still pretty much mark free and beading like you wouldn't believe. So, washed and topped up with a vintage wax. Hoovered out, job done. Many thanks for looking, next instalment to follow..I'm overseas now Cheers Tim
  16. Your pad choice should be fine for the black hole, though you could also try the 3m black glossing pad as its even softer. To remove the wax you need to use a towel such as https://www.envyvaleting.com/products_info.asp?id=165
  17. Lime prime marks plastic trim. LPL doesnt
  18. Gotta say Paul, when I saw it parked up whilst you did the beetle I thought it was the shiniest and glossiest I've ever seen it. I'd have nipped over but we had an all day party to get to....good job
  19. Aerospace 303 protectant, get it from a hot tub type place as thier prices are a LOT cheaper than car care places trust me.
  20. Ah ha, I can see you out of the back window polishing away...what do you think then Paul?!
  21. Thanks to all involved for a well organised and fun event. Nice to be able to put some usernames to real names to cars over the weekend and think I've now met most of the mod team! Thanks to the shoppers for the support over the weekend, it was much appreciated. We had a great time. Next year we need to do a "tent-tunnel" from the camping field to the burger van, the toilets and end up at my gazebo Best wishes Tim
  22. Be happy to help out. I can bring water and power in my van so thats not a problem. All I'd need is for you to make sure it doesnt rain, and I dont get run over If you want to see examples of my work do a bit of digging on this forum and also DW in the Studio section Best wishes Tim
  23. Filling up nicely. Pics I took before of the Megs light tunnel...... and what it can show
  24. ^Hi Russ, yes Zolder was the one. Wrapped cars do seem to hold onto the water (see pic 6!) but once it was waxed it beaded up really well and the water just ran off it.
