  2. Chin up all the Ian-ses All the hard but appears to be done just finishing touches connecting bits to bibs and voila in no time these beast will be running. Have pity for me......... I sold my supercharger mid last year feeling quietly confident that by spring this year I would have built a forged engine and shocking the forum with a custom 600-700whp vortech build but then going through a divorce has drained up my free cash I'm selling non essentiel stuff to move the project forwards and will not give up even if it take me to next spring! It's the end result that matters and motives us. So stop moaning and get back to work !!!!!!! Keep up the good work fellaðŸ‘

  7. +1 with Alex. Good quality spacers eg eibach fitted properly are safe but I would go past 25mm and it should improve your handling(lateral stability) by increasing your track width in general but you need to know what you are doing if you want to tune the car with spacers. E.g I was suffering bad under steer and lack of front end grip in the wet but increasing my front track with spacer was the only thing that made the biggest difference after playing with softer setting on damper and ARB and geometry.

  9. Looks like they are unharmedðŸ‘. Minimal track damage and will have only cost euro 180 ADAC recovery. The car would likely have minimal damage as the crash bar too the brunt squarely. This a typical noob crash at Brunchen II due to lift off oversteer. He was not very fast but was too early and tight into the apex and as the corner opens at the top but still looks to tighten as you can't see over the crest the tendency is people panic and lift off or brake which unloads the finely balanced loaded rear tyres with resultant loss of traction and oversteer. Rather he should have let the car run wide to towards the kerbs and use it if necessary to keep traction and make the corner. There's more room than is apparent but seeing Esbach corner at the top confuses. Most Ring corners have typical apices like this and require late braking and turn in. There's loads of useful corner by corner online guides that any noob should invest time into or just drive to your limits and what you can see.

  16. None of the above. Get a pair of OE quality pagid for around 70 inc VAT from ECP if the deal is still alive. And pair that with ferodos ds2500 or similar pads and for the extra savings get ss lines and some Motul fluid. This combo will beat the EBC crap all day long.

  18. It shouldn't . You just have to keep wiggling and pushing the tool down onto the plug firmly and getting it out and eventually it will pick it up. Stop being a girl😜
  19. I have both OEM and a smoothed charge speed side skirt in Nissan jurors black. They both will need prep and paint due to stone chips and scratches. The driver chargespeed skirt will need some re glassing due to a speed bump damage when I was very lowered. I have loads of fibre glass mat I can attempt a repair or preferably leave that to your body shop since they have to prep it anyway. They were worth £250. I'need somewhere around half price ono to do a deal. You can pick up or arrange courier. Paisrly frieght or wheel carriers are cheap ~£20 but you know how risky it is with fibre glass shipping. The OEM is £75ono I can get more pics if needed. I'm based in Worcester.

    Brake Fade

    +1 with Sam. Start with betterave fluid and ss lines but as I've said it several times all these black diamond shiiite and similar are not worth the trouble. You can get high OE quality paid high carbon plain disc for brembo at under £70 a pair from ECP sale and combine that with fereodo DS2500 or pagid RS29, RBF and ss lines it will do fast road all day long and light track day without fade. By light I mean batches of 3 hot laps on most UK tracks. The grooving and slotting discs do very little performance gains for our application but the quality of the pad and disc material is more important. The advantage of a BBK is fade resistance due to bigger thermal mass primarily. The physics of the car is still the same. Another ignored fact to brake fade is just poor braking technique. Even with a BBK pad fad will occur with poor technique.
