  1. Yeah i had a popcharger, but no plenum spacer or anything else. The buddyclub has a larger bore than most every other system, which seems to free it up nicely. Im having manifolds fitted in a couple of weks, will be interesting to see if they make any additional gains.
  2. As above, id be careful. My 5Zigen ZR520+ wheels are 19x9 +20 front, 19x10 +20 rear, and lowered on coilovers i would be lucky to get a piece of paper through the gap to the metalwork. Any wider it would rub 100% unless you did some arch work.
  3. What sort of mods are you running on it now mate? Mine got 290.1bhp on the rollers (05 276 bhp car) with just a buddy club CAT back and Berk HFC's. Think that whole setup (sports CATS, y pipe and System cost me about £1000). Looking really nice though mate, congratulations Adrian
  4. Get 25mm Rear mate, i had 20mm Front / 20mm Rear i think, rears were a bit too thin, 25mm would of looked spot on, ill try and find the pics... viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18900
  5. They are installed, i havent put the plastics back on yet. so will make a decision on it when i do! cheers
  6. Honestly Andy - Yes. Get the Vreidesteins\Goodyears for the front and you will see what i mean... The sidewalls are very soft and very thinck, i'm not even sure how that combo is possible. I feel like my cars handling has been transformed with the change of tyres. The only thing i can say is at the cheap end of the market Falken 452 are good compared to nankang/wan li and all that rubbish, but compared to proper UHP tyres they are not good. I got the 275/35/19 Goodyear rears for £130 each, almost the same as the falkens and its like night/day honestly. Sorry :-(
  7. I shall aim to be there on 16th, my car is having a LOT of work done that day so ill hope its finished and i can make it....
  8. Wheels look nice IMO, if you want to lower it with height adjust and not break the bank, get a set of BC racing coilovers. Quite a few of us use them, if you order them from the factory with 12Kg/mm springs front/rear, they are an excellent set for the money. Cost about £550 if memory serves. Adrian
  9. I have BC with 12Kg/mm front and rear springs, its stiff, but not back breakingly so.
  10. I used 452's previously and didnt realise how bad they were until i swapped them. I now have Vreidesteins front, Goodyear Eagle rear (couldnt afford the £220 each for rear vreidesteins!) and the difference in grip and feel is amazing. The falkens have such a soft sidewall its mad, and a very 'WIDE' sidewall too, i was getting slight rubbing with them, but now none with the goodyears. Personally i would thank fate for saving you from these tyres, and get some good ones instead!
  11. Indeed chris got them on when my moonface racing roll ceter adjusters arrived from adam :-) I must admit im really pleased with the BC's so far. Wondering though how has everyone has positioned their rear daming adjusters, as there is no way to get to the top of the strut once fitted! I have got the long adjuster attacment thats going to be fitted tommorow, but even that there isnt a place for it to poke through! how are you doing chris?
  12. Well mine are on and settled now, its a bit lower than ians (rears are as low as is possible) and i love the look of it. Next time its dry i will get some more pics up.
  13. How much for 2 of the 275/35/19 RE050A (AM9- Astonmartin DB9 spec)- if you can split. i have vreidesteins new on the front, but am a bit skint after christmas and cant really affiord the rears too!
  14. That is the exact same problem i had - although my bush was much worse than that. I replaced them both with moonface racing roll center adjusters, very good quality parts and should bring my geometry back inline with stock. Don't know if its any use to you, but i have a new JDM 350z Off side (drivers side) hub carrier with that new bush on it i need to sell..... not needed now i have the moonface racing parts.
  15. BC racing coilovers mate, they are pretty good and reasonably priced. Just finally got mine on last night, the car is now low, and handling much improved, even over the Eibach springs I went for stiffer springs tho 12/12, which id reccomend, its still not jarringly stiff.
  16. All the 'can' exhausts will droan, the buddy club is VERY raspy under heavy load, much more so than other exhausts i have heard. Its loud, but not as loud with standard CAT's, but then not raspy really either. IMO buddy club and HFC's is the perfect exhaust for noise, weight and gains. where abouts are you, if your local could take a look at mine.
  17. That is exactly the issue, K1's are a copy of a copy, and they are cheap because the manufacturing tolerances seem to be about 2cm!!!! That way none of them fail QC and no money is lost binning dodgy ones.... K1 is loud, but not really loud. The buddy club i have made 99.7Db at 3500rpm constant at coombe, so i 'just' got through the 100Db sound test. Flyby will be a LOT louder than this, and i still dont find the exhaust to be that loud really.
  18. In terms of restriction, IMO you have replaced one of the least restrictive parts of the exhaust by fitting the K1. For me in terms of benefit, they are : 1. High Flow CAT's 2. Manifolds 3. Y-Pipe 4. Rest of exhaust The K1 also does not have a very large bore so isnt the best to make the benefit of high flows or a mani. I have the Berk HFC on mine, they are very good, and give a very raspy sound (which i like but not all will) If you can stomach the labour cost, get it all done, mani's HFC and Y-pipe. I have manifolds, but they are not fitted yet.
  19. I fitted whiteline ARB on middle stiffness setting and its a definate improvement. Now i have the whiteline bushings, and am fitting Moonface Racing roll center adjusters and BC racing coilovers tommorow, so it should be really good after this. Would reccomend the ARB's.
  20. Have to say im not a fan either. Also greekman you track your car right (Very Hard) so why buy wheels that i believe are relatively heavy and need spacers, when you could of got some lighter ones that fitted correctly in the first place? Anyhoo, look forward to the pictures...
  21. Miltek are not loud, if you wanted loud, raspy and popping you should of gone buddy club as pete suggested, very aggressive sounding exhaust and great value for money as you get a y pipe included. Also as my dyno plot reveals the loudness is deserved with the buddy club, as it gives solid power gains unlike a lot of the other exhausts :-)
  22. I removed all the heat shields from under the car around the boot, that lessened the vibrations, but no not inside i haven't the vibrations remind me i am driving an exciting great sounding car
  23. Looks exactly the same as mine Heath mate And Yeah pete, lots of interior vibrations. I have the berk HFC aswell.

    New Springs

I have whiteline ARB's on mine, makes a small difference but not huge. You would probably find that the rear camber/toe adjuster setup will make more difference than the sway bars. Changing the standard rubber suspension bushs for poly ones (Eg Whiteline) makes a big difference aswell, much more than the sways IMO.
