  7. 54 plate, silver I think, we had a bit of a convoy going on in the slow traffic down towards Birmingham. only mod I spotted was colour coded 'Z' badges on the wings
  8. I think it's 9000 miles or every year, whichever is sooner. I guess it really depends what has actually been done at the previous services. Aux drive belts might need a look at, and spark plugs need changing about that mileage.
  9. I had a problem with an erratic blower a couple of years ago, if its not the connections (ribbon cable) then it could be either the white control box or the dials that are faulty.
  10. The video is quite good, but the idea of replacing the power stations with wind turbines isn't.
  11. if you didn't want to buy a clock then you could just clamp a bit of metal close to the disc surface to use as a finger and check it visually?
  12. that's good news, I was thinking of getting an aftermarket bumper which doesn't have the holes cut in it and wondered what was involved as I want to keep the washers if possible cheers
  13. A question for someone who has had the front bumper off - how are the headlight washers mounted on the bumper? If I got a new bumper would I need to make up some mounting brackets to hold the washer jets in place? cheers Mike
  14. I think the front bumper is the best bit , I quite like the front lip being rounded off at the corners, not keen on the rear though, just looks too stuck on to me. I'd be tempted by a front bumper if they were sold separately
  15. but how could they find out? can they ask the police for that information?
  16. the green car behind is parked like a genius too!
  17. 2004 UK GT 66k miles Popcharger, plenum spacer, Berk HFCs, Stillen Y-pipe, scorpion exhaust. Dynapack at Abbey Motorsport V-power super unleaded 259.9 HP @ wheels
  18. check the front pads, especially the inner ones, to see how much meat is left on them, sounds like the pad wear indicator touching the disk slightly.
  19. ouch! so using your groin to stop a moving vehicle actually works in practice, but isn't advisable I did a similar thing once, but with the door shut and window down, I thought that as it rolled out the garage I could just reach in and pull the handbrake up... not a chance could I reach it diving through the window car rolled down drive and came to a stop blocking the road (luckily a cul-de-sac with no-one around to bump into, or witness it )
  20. Gave me the thumbs up today
  21. I don't think they will do any damage to the car, they might just burn themselves out like mine did
