Yeah stunning aren't they? I met Ian for the first time with his Orange last-minute engine bay which looked fantastic and was completed only days before the meet! The purple-shaded engine bay was a great idea too (sorry, didnt get to chat to the owner). Shire and MadMarky showed what obsessive compulsive disorders can do to a Zed (two more awesome modded cars) and lets not forget that 350z which the owner had modified to look like a van, THAT'S dedication!

Managed to pop in Satdee and Sunday. Great turnout on the Sunday! Always a good excuse to catch up with folk and (depite getting there quite late on Sunday due to a karting session) managed to catch Chris, James and Mark just before they left. Grabbed some late lunch with Pete and Ken at about 4pm at a local tea room. Got back to the car to find some plonker in a black sports car had parked so close to my drivers door i couldn't get into the car! After a few minutes Ken moved his car out of the way

...except when we got lost leaving the Waterloo (my fault!) and ended up meeting up with a few of the SuperCharger lads, before hooking onto the back of Will370's group. Actually, that was pretty damn good! My ears are just about working again after (trying) to follow Bennett and co Infact, i seem to recall that we had stopped at the top-edge of the Evo Triangle not far past the pub we have stopped at on previous Wales trips (now closed). We got out of the cars for a chat...and could hear a Zed approaching...and approaching...and approaching...and then a few minutes later Bennett arrived from the opposite side of the traiangle. Nice quiet Zed that, really can't hear it coming from miles away In terms of improvements - the only thing that threw a few people was the Google Maps directions. I think it would be useful if (as part of any future reccee) someone makes a note of the major turns, and then perhaps edits-down the Google maps directions so they only contain the crucial "turn off here" bits? I'm nit picking now, that's how great 2013 was!

Just logged in for the first time in weeks. I'm shocked fella...not only by the "Tough sh1t" attitude of British Policing, but also about the way in which this happened, and the fact that this fooktard could have injured or killed someone when trying to get away! Add to this the fact that you have witnesses and video evidence (i think?) and I'm even MORE amazed that the Police can't progress this... When my old 200sx got hit by some joyriding pr1cks I gave chase....gave up at 70 leptons when the joyriders decided to speed at over 80mph thru a 30 zone. The Police did nothing. The area had cameras. The fooktards could have killed someone driving like they did. Police just shrugged, gave me a crime reference and that was that. In fact, i think *I* got a bollocking for not reporting the hit-and-run in person to a Police Station within 48hours.... WTF! Anyhoo, I hope she gets sorted soon, and that the pr1ck who hit you has dropped his phone while visiting Chester Zoo and has ignored the "These Lions bite" sign as he clambers over the enclosure to retrieve his phone...

Many thanks to all involved for yet another cracking Wales weekend! We had perfect weather, no nasty incidents (except Graham missing that left turn) and we also had a nice influx of new members who i hope had a thoroughly good tonk around some very nice roads with some amazing Zed's and their owners. If i manage to get away from work this week I'll get some of the pics Lydia's took uploaded. As for the GoPro videos..... the sheer size of them probably means I'll send them onto people on DVD (Andy with the 370z, MadMarky and Chris S feature quite prominently). I might be able to get an edit uploaded if i find the time lol! Oh, and thankfully bright orange Zed's with large rear spoilers show up really well on GoPro footage...

RIP Mark. I recall we chatted briefly in Wales about the pro's and cons of Coupe vs Roadster 370z. Lovely chap, such a cruel blow for someone so young. Heart goes out to his family and friends. A fitting tribute to the lad by the looks of it. The overflowing service speaks volumes for how well thought of he was, and indeed still is.

I don't suppose anyone knows the part code for a pair of K&N cones that will fit the Stillen Gen 1 intake kit for an HR engined Zed do they? The car came with them when i bought it 18 months ago. I've had the cones out twice to clean them with K&N filter cleaner etc - but i can't recall if there was any part number on them? The current cones have the intake section at the front of the cone too, not just round the sides. Stillen Gen 1 uses the original hoses i think, with new rubberised airboxes and cones inside them. I think it's time i ordered two new ones. I suspect these have seen better days now! Ta

I think its an auto tho which im not really after...and im not keen on grey either But other than that, awesome car for 350z HR price! Whats not to like? My old Zed sold with 106,000 trouble-free miles on the clock. My 200sx (S14a) before that went with 152,000 miles on the clock - original engine and turbo! Built to last i think (unless anyone knows something different about the 370z?)

And is Lydia happy with a white 370 ? Yep. But the reduction in legroom (she's 6ft) and the missing cubbies are still a concern to her..... looks like i will have to pass then Honestly the only things stopping me buying a 370 are the prices (still a tad high for me to feel happy with) and the fact that i own the best varient of the 350. As AK said earlier in the thread, there isnt a lot of difference between the 350 HR and the 370 if we are being brutally honest. The screen did have a mark on it, like a scratch. Maybe it WAS touch screen? The dealer let me start the car up ....on the first floor lol! It was like starting a car up in a very posh office building! Nav fired up - Nissan logo etc. I never thought to try the screen doh! The way the needles on the dials all roll round then back when you start the car was neat too. Now a no-no because even the passenger seat has a S L O W electric back-adjust motor Does it sound like Im trying to talk myself out of one? Three stones chips. A mark on the satnav screen. When i spoke to Gary from Rybrook on the phone and he told me that the car was on the first-floor, i should have sussed that something out-of-the-norm for a car sales place would be waiting for me and Lydia... ...sure enough, Rybrook near Solihull is a Macca and Roller dealership, with all the 'tat' like the 370z hidden away on the first floor (car lift access for the vehicles incase anyone was wondering) Other 'tat' on the first floor included: 2x Macca MP4-12Cs 1x 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Several Astons Ferrari California Maserati GT Stradale I will say that the Storm white 370 really didnt look out of place! It looked more than good enough to be in such distinguished company ! The price has been dropped recently too to a whisker under 20k. Car has 10000 miles only on the clock, one owner. Only issues were three little stone chips and a small blemish on the satnav screen....it looked factory-new. Tempted....very tempted. Slightly annoyed about the lack of cubby spaces in the 370 tho...and where the hell is the sunglasses holder?!?

lol - i was expecting a comment like this I'm not alone in berating the TC on the 350z - it really is too eager to step in during slow wet driving conditions.
