  1. you sure it's a turbonetics kit? only thought they provided a single turbo. The only one I know of is the SFR Twin Turbo Kit for 03-06 Nissan 350Z VQ35DE using turbonetics turbos. looks pretty awesome and very pricey kit! Not sure why the boost so low with external wastegates, should be able to push some more power out of them glws!
  2. any of you guys doing demostration tomorrow for these new eu laws? http://www.righttoride.eu/?p=7567
  3. Answer = It doesn't Might be harder for a woman dating a younger man IMO. Shouldn't be 'Fair play you got yourself a toyboy' - should be the general thinking G'luck and be merry.
  4. And didnt you do it all yourself? This guy wants a garage to do all the work so probably looking at another £3k labour? Nah didnt fit any of the engine or tt kit's to the car, did most of the supporting mods though. It's doable I'd say just need to find a decent garage to do the work for you, be carefull with a 'to cheap' place though (can take a while to get stuff done and end up a bit more costly in the end...) If your aimining for 400whp with standard internals possilbly a vortech etc kit is the way to go. I'd still aim for something else like the bb kit from Canada, currently excange rates are horrible though. Not sure if they're any companies doing a custom single t kit for the Z within europe.
  5. cool updates 309 is that on the DE engine I take it? That busa turbo will be mental! Saw one down on track not long ago over here and it was demented, similar body to the one above not sure if it was the same though... he almost lost it on the straights when the turbo starting feeding the engine! looked pretty scary from where I was standing... Think he needed to upgrade the tyres
  6. Had a hard time insuring a tt. Dont think I could get it insured woth a different engine ... Go for a transplant though
  7. The stuff forged engine, tt kit installed and tuned can be done for sub 10 but you need to buy support ing mods that will bring you over that's thats my own experience.
  8. 10K is a bit highly rated... Go for it love the power in mine
  9. golden retriever, friendly and cool. family had a kennel. Need to know your personality to know what dog to 'match' you up with Be aware dogs, take up a lot of time and does lock you down. A kid grows up and becomes independant, dog not so. And it's hard to see dogs go. Don't go for a small dog unless you want some agressive little thing
  10. check with mrsteve he has that on his track z lizardmotorsport. http://www.teamlizardmotorsport.co.uk/ http://www.youtube.com/user/teamlizardmotorsport
  11. apexi drop in filter, bicky's velocity stack mod, that md exhaust is seeeeeeeexy! Thought they'd stopped producing that, think it'll be a bit loud Uprev tune on the cards to get the best out of the engine afterwards. You might want to figure out how to get the car through MOT without the cats...
  12. ^ not stating it'll work. The plenum spacers sold use that normally including the use of the OEM one, It's easy to take it off though if the tube one doesn't work. Personally I'd go for the real gasket.
  13. You'll need a gasket unless you plan on using it on a tube, be aware that those things crack (v1) with higher boost pressure so might not be suited for FI. Think they warrant it at 15psi but not sure they'll take that. I got the v2 and it's warrantied to 30 which I'll never see... enjoy it! It's easy to fit too and you get more room in the engine bay upgrading other bits down the line too.
  14. Is that the version 1 one? Bits for it look a bit different from mine, the gasket should be some type attached to the bottom is on mine, not sure ifthey skipped that onthe v1. at least you got some install tools You'll hear a nice wooooshy sound after you install that and the engine will be a bit cooler then before. You going for a tune or just installing for looks and sound?
  15. these with or without studs? was off to scandinavia recently and had a look at their tyres need to be smaller with though so actually thinking on getting a steal wheel set this year for this purpose
  16. Expecting a boom The quicker he can get a built engine! If no boom then all good! And more people can enjoy some 100 hp boost
  17. looks like someone threw a grenade in the boot! Maybe take off the reg plates out of them photos on fb? Wouldnt be adviceable unless you told the insurance company youre having a green NOS canister in the boot
  18. read it twice and I gotcha. The thing is, if you're going to fit a front under splitter which covers the ender side, why would you want to keep the stock tray anyway? Would want to keep the z speed one. The original one i would dump. You would save on material cost too. Just a thought.
  19. having epic fail moments using gimp2 to try and visualize what I'm talking about. hoping the text is good enough.
  20. I would say no. The intention of making it universal would mean we're aiming not to make it car specific and the more simpler we can keep it the lower the cost of production can be. hmmm I just got a z speed alu tray lol maybe just make it 'shorter' and be able to sit on top of say oem panel and the likes of the z speed alu tray? Not quite sure what mean? You have a alu Z tray which you want to cut in half and seat it over the stock under panels? I'll draw something up and post it in here. In text> The version that you posted looks like it'll replace the current OEM under-tray (or Z speed for that matter) and I was just tinkering with the idea of having something that can sit under the OEM or Zspeed undertray, using that material to attach to the car + more for obvious reasons, and have channels leading to the brakes.
