  1. SLIP light is possible the tyre offset maybe? Well done getting this far without loosing all your hair... or at least going grey! I'd say keep her and whatever monies you get for the car for sale will pay for a SC and carbon wrap the interior if it's nasty! Get some nice recaro seats too! If you don't want to keep it I'll offer 5k for it (€) I'm sure you'll change your mind once you get going in her! A
  2. mmm not sure about that, 10 made per year ... makes them pretty rare for a start... then again would the value loss of one of them be higher then 200k? Probably... but the insurance company doesn't want to pay out 500k if they can get away with "only" paying 300k...
  3. "The insurance claim was lodged by the test driver, not the owner of the car." Wonder who agreed to move his insurance from his other car to the Zonda for the day! So I wont be bothering with checking quotes from Aviva at renewal time...
  4. keep it going, fingers crossed they'll do what the SHOULD be doing...
  5. Never thought of that, maybe something to think about for the next MOT! (NCT)
  6. 210£ is the price new for that stuff, what type of RCA outputs does it actually have? tried reading the spec but could only find something that could be two rca outputs (4 in total) 2V, is that right? I'd give you 1/2 of that price mate if the RCA outputs meet my requirements. *Edit Found this on my search: So it does, will check and see if the 2V is any good too
  7. he he, I'm sure it was more man hours 'free' in that build though then a 400k racer would have in it. Either way amazing ... I'd go havos on a 318... where do we sign up for the 5 years of rally practice and where do we get all the mechanicall skills? I don't do maps so you can read and I'll drive
  8. Make sure they have insurance... and not some stupid disclaimer stating that "we take no liability for any damage occured on your vechile even if it's our fault" Remember when I read this: http://www.colinfitz.com/another-ferrar ... sandyford/ Thats why I do this when I drop my car off (never happened yet though...but 'when')
  9. They don't work simples? Better join that place and see what they state about using one or not (spent 1 hour reading more or less the same statement 'door stopper' etc etc... but no good answer to why they would not work. Either way I'm not going to block this thread anymore with this, might start a new thread though...
  10. agree on the rule part but think there was a bit of over reacting thats all, personally dont like dibs and lost out on some stuff before that I thought I was first in line for... think you just need to get over it though. Would like to see pricing on all the trader links too though... think there is no need to change any more rules really, generally seem to work pretty good. btw you're 100% correct on the point if you dont like it get your coat
  11. imo a bit of overeacting going on here.. and I did read the thread
  12. Did anyone die? No... all good then... jesus lads... Dibs is crap IMO first to pay is first to buy...
  13. you got 3 cars!!! thought I was bad with two Like the little CRX (del sol), car looks good from my point of view Hope you get it sorted!
  14. Andlid, my word that would scare anyone away! Especially the competition. A tad LOUD for me. Although had I want to wake the neighbours on my way home at night, I'd def have them just for the fun of it. It's only really loud when you put your foot down, normal driving is fine... getting a bit to loud just around 2k now though... might go and get them replaced... Then again fun to set of the alarm of my other car when I blip it...
  15. Well they are talking about May.... http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk ... idays.html It's either 3rd or 31st (think they said 31st here mind...) Cheers A
  16. lol he was probably wondering what the heck was going on...
  17. Who's the man looking at your car from the light pole in the second video? I guess that driving in the estate wasn't that welcomed? Clean looking car and nicely sounding
  18. Google? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=As+said+before+there+are+some+really+in+depth+threads+all+about+it. Was hoping you'd post a link to where you'd read it...
  19. When did I say that a capacitator replaces more battery or bigger alternator?! Its only there to help the amp if the amp suddenly need more power then battery/alternator can deliver that's all. and it does take time for the capacitator to reload it self as Ian stated. Obviously it cannot replace XXX amount of batteries and larger alternator but maybe not everyone want to drive around with power plant in the car? Everyone to their own but I'm of the opinion that you MIGHT need it depending on your music style and what type of level of audio you're going for. Please correct me with some hard facts. It's there to help the amp get power quickly... not drive the system...
  20. Have you tried this? NISSAN VEHICLE IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM (NVIS) The Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System will not allow the engine to start without the use of the registered Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key. If the engine fails to start using the registered Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key, it may be due to interference caused by another Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key, an automated toll road device or automated payment device on the key ring. Restart the engine using the following procedures: 1. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position for approximately 5 seconds. 2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF or LOCK position and wait approximately 10 seconds. 3. Repeat step 1 and 2 again. 4. Restart the engine while holding the device (which may have caused the interference) separate from the registered Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key. If this procedure allows the engine to start, NISSAN recommends placing the registered Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System key on a separate key ring to avoid interference from other devices. Statement related to section 15 of FCC rules for Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System (CONT ASSY-BCM, ANT ASSYIMMOBILIZER) This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules and RSS-210 of Industry Canada. Operation is subject to the following two conditions; (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS NOT EXPRESSLY APPROVED BY THE MANUFACTURE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE COULD VOID THE USER’S AUTHORITY TO OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT. SIC1699
