  1. Filter explained: http://www.high-voltage-lab.com/7/low-p ... -subwoofer In short you dont want the stereo music range 20-20000Hz to go straight to the subwoofer, you want it to ONLY 'hear' 20-100Hz, to do this you can put a filter in front (or in the AMP) of the subwoofer that cuts out the upper range and only passes through the lower range. If you play ALL of the sound to the sub it will sound crappy...
  2. Today... I'll be on nurr''ssss ass all day today
  3. my recommendations would be coming from Sweden not sure you want to order one from there. If it's only going to drive the sub you might just want to get a mono block or 2 channel amp that can be bridged into 1 channel. Also you'd need to get either a passive or active filter for the sub, I find the passive ones a bit crap (years ago) so I'd go for one that you can activly set on the amp itself. How much are you looking to spend on the amp? This one would meet your needs if you only want to drive the SUB: http://www.mds.se/sv/product/968/MDS-Torque--T1
  4. Well I've done both rear and front and got a JDM and got guides somewhere if you need them. The guide for Brembo changing here is good. If you feel you'll fail you might want to just have piece of mind and hand it in to get changed. I for one wouldnt do it unless I knew the person and that they where sound mechanics... got my bike back from the mech and they had not done a very good job...
  5. Mine has NO problem changing fast... it's working REAL well shifting fast actually so not sure why you see a problem there... still think it could be the flywheel thats out of balance or worn down. I can't see it's fueling in my application since I'm not using the standard ECU for that and got a full retune...
  6. Thats what it states buddy. Im new to his sort of thing do you think that would be incorrect? well if thats what it states then thats what it is...find out if that would be good enough for the 10" element you plan on using. It's a closed box? (think so) so you'd need smaller internal area but it will not be able to play as loud. I really like the look of that and you could even then stick the AMP on the backside of it facing frontwards. My sub I'm looking to get is a 10" that would be best suited with this: Box Pipe: 19 Litre Port 1st D=70mm L=250mm Box Enclosed: 18 Litre What type of element ar eyou looking at? best to talk to the manufactor for the correct size box really... Never used a pre fab box before always got drawings from the place I bought the element from and took it to a carpenter to manufacture for me. Im looking to get a Rockford Fosgate P3SD410 or possibly a kicker or a kicker L7. Both 10" although the kicket is a rectangular cut out on the encolsure. The kicker volume minium is 1.25 ft3 (35.4L) + port displacement 2.5 x 11.25†(6.4x29cm) port, 19.75†(50cm) long Power Handling = 450W RMS You need a good bit bigger box for the kicker if they need 35.4l volume! Looked at the rockford and guessing you are going for a 10" 4ohm one, they suggest 21.2 l for a ported one and it looks to best suit your needs really? Recommended Applications Tuning(Fb) System -3dB (F3) Hz (Qtc) Hz Sealed: 14.2 0.50 49.7 0.92 50.0 - - - - Thiele-Small Specifications Ported: 21.2 0.75 46.0 - 35.9 3.0 76.2 12.0 304.8
  7. Didnt say anything about that now! That launch control works real well...
  8. Is there anyway you can make the rules 'pop up' in a new window or something when you hit 'new topic' under the for sales section?
  9. Winner better be able to take it for a spin!!!
  10. 3 I press the clutch very shortly after coming off throttle Sounds like you're not giving the engine enough time to react after you've pushed petrol into the cylinders? ^ all that sounds like normal behaviour to me...

  12. Yes - this is down to the V engine configuration and the amount of revs the engine is doing (the imbalance of the engine at low revs). You don't get this so much on a flat 6 or straight 6 cylinder engine. It is similar to riding a V twin or V4 motorcycle, if any of you have you will know what I am talking about. Once past a certain number of revs the engine smooths out and revs really cleanly. hmm my SV650S V Twin doens't suffer from that... thought that had more to do with the clutch/flywheel...
  13. Cool keep us posted so... 1800rpm though! Mine does 1500 from cold thank god, otherwise the neighbours would KILL me... litterly...

    Video request;

    Hi Guys, Can you that have a lighter flywheel please post a pre-video install and an after video install and some thoughts on ligher flywheel? Even if you dont have a 'pre'install could you make a video of the current rev behaviour? Cheers A.
  15. I dunno just a guess... The heavier mass the slower drop of RPM (and increase) with a lighter flywheel you get quicker response... not sure why that would happen at low revs as your example (and mine) maybe just post a video request up to people to sit in there car giving it a bit of rev? Does your car shudder sometimes taking off if you dont give it enough RPM's? a

  17. Burning smell while or after acceleration? Could be the aux and alternator belts need replacing. Try and turn off the aircon window down if you need a breather and test it again... does it still smell directly? What offset are they wheels, pretty sure thats your problem there.. keep the 20" they look cool
  18. Try this http://www.zenclosures.com/ProductDetai ... 0&CartID=1 what l volume would that be?

  22. Hello, just spotted something that might be down to my silly lappy throwing a fit now and then. Problem description: Logon to site to view a thread read it maybe even post a reply, then hit the 'chat' button since I don't see a problem having that one on it the background all day... . When I do this and sometimes just type something and hit enter the chat light goes from green to red and I loose all connection to the site this happened about 20 min ago (if not sooner) so 12:00/12:10 GMT I lost all the connections to the site and the chat, after a bit of 'waiting' it came back... Anyone else 'suffer' from this? A
