  2. As the restoration continues (started by removing a bit of rust on the front crossmember, now complete rebuild and de-rust) I have a couple of weeps. One is on the pressure valve/nut on the steering rack which will be taken care of by sealant around the outside HOWEVER I'm struggling to identify this under the rad. The closest I can come to is 'lower tank' referenced on https://nissan.oempartsonline.com/v-2004-nissan-350z--enthusiast--3-5l-v6-gas/cooling-system--radiator-and-components - it's in the same horizontal line as the rad drain plug and lower hose attachment. Any thoughts? Right hand side just below the clips where the fan shroud sits. Two pipes (RH and LH) run from the auto-box to the radiator and back again so i assume an integrated trans-cooler and rad. I'm hoping it's as simple as re-sealing the union/thread with a washer and pipe jointing compound for good measure? Thanks. Al.
  3. Picking up tomorrow hopefully... fingers crossed! Just sorted my insurance.... hadn't done a quote until today as i didn't want to know what it'd cost, but pleasantly surprised it's only £488!

  7. As we are rapidly heading towards the 9th June Coventry Museum meeting I thought I would remind members of the last event we held there in 2017, it was what Wallace would have described as a cracking good day. 🤗

  11. Hi Everyone, I live in preston and recently purchased an Ultra Yellow 350 GT4. Can anyone recommend a garage in the northwest to have the car serviced and also any sprayers out there that have worked on the ultra yellow GT4’s before and done a decent job. thanks
  12. Let’s say you recently made a claim on your Car Insurance. The good news is that it's been processed and you’ve received a payout so you can get your vehicle back on the road. However, you may find that paying the excess on your claim means your finances still take a hit. This is where Excess Protection Insurance comes in. With this policy in place, you’ll get your policy excess back – even if you’re at fault. This is a policy that is now open to everyone, even if you don’t have your Car Insurance with us. Here are a few benefits you might like to weigh up: ● Enjoy a full reimbursement of up to £1,000 ● Cover both voluntary and compulsory excesses ● Get speedy reimbursement should there be a delay of 6 or more months in recovering your excess from a third party ● Take advantage of 12 months of protection for your pocket If you’d like to find out more, head over to the Chris Knott Insurance website: https://www.chrisknott.co.uk/motor-insurance/excess-protector/. You can also ask me any questions. Best wishes, Simon
  13. Sorry bumping a real old thread! but I now own what used to be Jerry's z Looking at your posts I can see how well it's been looked after by yourself.. however when I bought it still with 58,000 miles on the clock, in 2017.. it's now currently sitting on 74k..(16k in 7 years) 20 years old and not even broke the 100k mark yet... don't think the owner(s) between (I'm the 5th) had been too kind to it but it's back attending shows with my local Jap club so it's back out there!.. needs some work but I'm trying to get around to it.
