  2. My 350z will be up for sale soon as I’m moving to Australia at the end of the year, I need your experts knowledge to evaluate the car for me I’ll list all pics and specs below! (Added into the wrong topic if people saw earlier on)! dont quote me on the spoiler and bumper it’s just what I was told by the previous owner!!! Will have full years mot by next week also
  3. Today
  4. Rough news, followers Abbey Motorsport for years and years. Z33 looks brilliant on track again
  5. BC's it is then fella. I was lucky enough to come across my WAT Racing set up pre owned and I great shape.
  6. Yesterday
  7. @Olly350z i do really like meisterR but they are not true style which i was hoping to get as i already have the toe arm at the back ready to go and cant return in anymore or have to sell otherwise, for the reinforcing,i personally dont think theres such need on 350z specifically, other cars,i would think for that. @Ekonai agree with you, but i drive the car 1 month or so a year and i dont want to spend 3k pounds and barely use them, otherwise i would just get KW 3 Clubsport and call it a day. @davey_83Really caught my attention with WAT racing, unfortunatelly i cant find online a coilovers for 350z made from them. Also if something happens shipping from taiwan would be bigger problem than shipping around Europe(cars in east europe, even if theres stock in UK i still need to ship to East Europe, but taiwan seems a little too much) @ShortPaulI agree with you also, but same what i said to Ekona, cars not really in use that much, otherwise yeah.. KW,Nitron,Ohlin,Cusco etc.etc. would be the best.
  8. Ohlin would be my choice
  9. Previously had BC's and MeisterR coilovers, both were good however didn't use on track yet wouldn't envision them being an issue. I have WAT Racing coilovers and can highly recommend also.
  10. If you’re looking at 70% track work, then imho you need to be looking up a notch like KWv3 etc, as all those you mention are budget options which would suit a road car more than a track toy. Suspension is arguably the biggest thing you can do to a car to totally change it, and I certainly wouldn’t be scrimping at this point since you’ve polybushed everything already.
  11. Meister R gets my vote, from previous experience on all my previous cars. Jerricks products have always surpassed my expectations Have you read about reinforcing the rear shock towers if you change over to true full coil overs? I don't know how true it is but I've read that they need to be done on the rear.

  13. Nice work on the wheels! I agree with the metallic silver, can look a bit tacky if everything is OEM(+)
  14. Im looking to buy coilovers for my 350. My choices are MeisterR CRD, BC br, Tein flex Z and HSD Monopros and YSR (yellow speed racing). From my research :MeisterR are good and good customer service, but they are not true rear style which i wanted initially. Tein are bad from what i heard + they tend to leak and awful customer service BCs are taiwanese crap that is overrated by youtubers YSR : well,i got nothing for them HSD:rusty, bad customer service from driftworks + i saw a couple of guys with front shocks literally failed(bent where they mount to the control arm) + from what i saw rears dont go lower than stock height ? which is absurd. Any info would be highly appreciated from people that actually have driven on track. For what i will use the car: 70% track driving, other 30% motorway/city driving. and yes,the car is polybushed in the front, partially in the rear + yes,i have rear toe arms(to delete the buckets if i decide to go with true style coils). Initially whats important to me is,if something goes wrong like leaking i want to get replacement now, hence i dont want to import something from USA and if something goes wrong i have to wait for shipping from usa to europe.
  15. Last week
  16. I can't see anyone organising a breakfast meet to the cotswolds again . Last year's was awesome. have I missed it ? Hope not
  17. Mark, So sorry to hear about Tony. I have very fond memories of him. Alex.
  18. Been a while since we have been on here , we lost Tony late last year the man that started Abbey nearly 60 years ago. We got our 350Z race car back built after a big accident late in 2022. Had the Car back out @ Brands Hatch last week for initial shake down before we start racing the car again. #eatsleepracerepeat
  19. Hi. If you ever need any help with insurance for modifications then please feel free to drop me a line. Regards, Dan.
  20. 7 - 1 in qualifying Russell to Hamilton this year so far in 2024. Yes I don't like Lewis 😁
  21. Thanks very much for the info I have used AO 52 in the past better tyres but I couldn't get any last October the AR1 is ok as long as it is dry. I will go with what you suggest and see how it goes
  22. 20psi seems too low if its a 350/370 your driving. I have never gone that low but that doesn’t mean i’m right your wrong. Just try a few combinations and see how the car feels, ultimately its what works for you, i have had no end of people tell me what pressures to run on the 350 at sprints/hillclimbs, they didn't work and do my own bum cheek testing now. I know the AR1s have a relatively stiff sidewall so you can get away with lower pressures but i would be very surprised if your didnt feel better turn in and sharper steering with pressure up near 30 at the front. I run usually 5psi less at rear for traction and due to car being lighter at the rear. From my experience the pressures only go up 1 or 2 psi on a sprint run where as on a track day they may well go up 10psi over numerous laps if pushing. I would try 30 front 25 rear and see how that feels, just for comparison my last sprint day with the 350 i was running 34 front 27 rear with yoko AD09. Last year with A052 it was 34 front 31 rear. I have run Ar1s in past but was 5 years ago so cant remember what pressures were but certainly no where as low as 20, dont think i have ever gone below 25 on any tyre, maybe should try it lol.
  23. Stunning thing. Many happy motoring miles 💙
  24. It’s certainly a lot of fun and very spirited. Admirers cannot believe the condition and it’s on original paint.
  25. I wondered if anyone with more experience than me has some information. I am doing a sprint at Lydden Hill in Kent in July I've done a lot of track days there and I set my pressures to 20psi cold and that seems to be about right. The sprint is 1.75 miles long I think even though it's a short course the standard road pressures with be to high any ideas ? I'm using AR1 tyres.
  26. I local garage just quoted me £2k to do the bonnet & front bumper, £1k of that is just for the paint itself. I just don't see how a few litres of paint can cost £1k
  27. Yeah pal it's sweet bit of kit. The 5Ah was enough to do the whole car less the passenger door and front wing. I used the 2Ah to finish off the passenger door and front wing.
