Advice Needed Just been to a rolling road for a dyno run as part of a new championship i am doing this year. On drive back home noticed the ABS and Parking Brake warning lights are on. I have disconected battery and reconnected Checked with my OBD reader - No codes stored or pending I have the module wired in that permanently disables/ re-enables TC and SC this is still working fine and has no impact on the ABS light switching it off/on Checked alll relevant fuses (i think) and all seem ok Checked behind brake pedal and both switches that connect and all seems ok took it for a drive after turning off/on and disconnecting battery and still on (stays on from ignition) Only thing left is checking abs sensors but would this throw a code? How will i know which one might be faulty without swapping the lot? On the rolling road it was slipping a lot and i am wondering if that has caused the lights, I dont know if they were on straight after session or not, there was no mapping or anything involved, it was just a power run (or 3) to determine the power of the car then it was weighed. cheers

I might give this a go what size cable did you use? I have a hydraulic crimping press and I can get some heat shrink to make it look all nice just unsure on what cable to use did everything work out over the last few years? Was there any that you missed as I will follow your photos above

Evening all, I picked up the registration ‘V66 RWD’ when I was lining up a 350Z project as I thought it suited the V6 RWD identity perfectly. Plans changed before the build went ahead, so it’s been sitting on retention unused. Before listing it elsewhere, I thought I’d offer it here first as it makes more sense on a Z than anything else. Hi All, Been a while since I posted anything, but was hoping for some advice or guidance. My imported 2003 350z recently failed its MOT on front control arm ball joints...amongst other things. I ended up purchasing new Dorman upper control arm assemblies L (521-605) & R (521-606) and seating cones (40173-AL500), but they dont fit the knuckle. Control arms fit the subframe fine. Where have I gone wrong? Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Terence, Yes that is correct they do have different boot profiles. I can't suggest anything for you but know when I was looking for something for my 350Z and my 370Z it was hard to find anything that would fit without quite a lot of fettling... I do think that the Celica spoiler fits quite well. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

I got some more work done, using this topic as a notepad Recently completed Spark plugs replaced - NGK Iridium IX Oil & filter changed (again…) Turns out the Nissan dealership did NOT replace the oil filter during last year’s major service. It was already in the bin before I realised I should’ve taken photos and reported it… Front lower ball joints replaced Right knuckle replaced (OEM) (don’t ask) Boot popper springs replaced (heavy duty) Boot struts replaced I am going to add some more stuff to done and will create a to-do list Things done so far Major service at Nissan - NEVER again New tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 5) Front bumper resprayed Headlights cleaned and restored - Needs doing again, looking to replace lens instead of cleaning this time. We'll see... Dashcam installed (Viofo A229 Plus, hardwired) Antenna replaced and base refinished - Chipping a little bit, what can I say, TEMU antenna Underbody may need rust proofing, will do it this summer Head unit is working when the car gets warm. I am guessing there is some kind of condensation in it, on the lens or sth. If you haven't changed your brake fluid in a while it would be worth changing it for some decent fluid, doesn't cost a lot and should help keep your brakes working well for a bit longer Start off slow, learn the track layout, and build your speed up gradually, and have fun!

I'd been thinking about that myself, if it doesn't sell!

My number 1 tip would be learn the track and avoid the grass. You're not driving a lawnmower 😂 People who know me will get that. My first time on track was funny.

It’s your first time, you’re gonna be terrified and thrilled in equal measure as long as you keep on eye on the pressures (drop them off a couple of psi as they’ll get hotter than usual and will be overinflated, leading to premature wear) and don’t be doing massive skids everywhere on purpose, they’ll be absolutely fine for a first go. They’re not track tyres, not even close, but if they’re what you’re used to then that’s what will make you the most comfortable and that’s what counts on this go. When you get the bug, that’s when you can start looking at something more track-orientated

Hey! I’m considering taking the 350z on a track day. I’ve just had UniRoyal RainSport 5 tyres put on it, will these be ok for a track day or am I better to remove them and put something specific for track on there? I’m not racing driver, and am doing it to have a bit of fun and push the car more than I can on a normal road. I’m running MTEC discs and EBC red stuff pads. I’ll probably be there for a few hours, so just seeing I’m going to need specific tyres or if the ones I’m running would be fine? anything else I should consider? Thanks!

I've recently sold my 350Z to my brother in law & he's wanting to get new front wings. All we can find are ones without the cut out for the side repeater, which seems silly in the UK. He's not wanting modified or used ones, nor genuine new ones due to cost. Does anyone have any links to UK ones with the cut outs in them that will fit? Thanks.
