coldel Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 I never even thought to think that haha. I wonder if the previous owner changed them, he was meticulous with the detail and spent a fortune on this car... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

I bought a new folding mirror switch & a new emergency hazard switch for my old Impreza when I had it from eBay in order to replace the worn originals, ...they still worked but the markings had worn off slightly so it looked cr*p imo. coldel Posted June 25, 2016 Author Posted June 25, 2016 (edited) Geometry done today over at Wheels in Motion, great set up and bunch of guys there - anyway turns out the toe in was quite bad on the front, so would have eaten through my front tyres pretty quickly. Anyway all sorted now and in great shape. Edited June 25, 2016 by coldel 2 Quote

GMballistic Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Full billeted and anodized, no stickers to be seen! Can you drift it though is the real question? Looks good, ...need a picture of it in the engine bay though to see how good it really looks. Quote
coldel Posted July 1, 2016 Author Posted July 1, 2016 It drifted across my table top when Alfie knocked it with a toy car....gasps were heard! 1 Quote

coldel Posted July 18, 2016 Author Posted July 18, 2016 (edited) Got hold of some high temperature matt black paint and painted the turbo heatshield which needed some TLC. I also ordered some M1 Gtechniq metal polish, it is safe on chrome as well as many other metals and cleaned up the strut braces, they came up great! Never using Autosol again ...and it was lovely and warm, so waited for the sun to pass behind the house so could clean the car in the shade Edited July 18, 2016 by coldel 2 Quote
GMballistic Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Doesn't look bad but my honest opinion would be that I preferred the roof as was. Still the GT4 is looking superb. Quote
coldel Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Yeah not 100% myself, will leave it a while see if it grows on me! Quote
coldel Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Ace Cafe last night, starting to grow on me the black roof it does look better in the flesh than a photo captures. Plenty of positive comments last night. Edited July 24, 2016 by coldel 2 Quote
Rock_Steady Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Did you meet someone called Warner @ ace cafe? He sometimes goes to meets. He's got a rally rep ST185 all stickered up. Quote
coldel Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 He wasn't there then I didnt see a 185 like that, there was a 205 all stickered up though. Quote

coldel Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 I am still umming and urring about the roof, I think it needed to be gloss black not satin wondering if its something I could do on my own rather not fork out to get it done professionally again... Quote
Payco Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Col Steve, Zippypooz will do it for you cheaply if you drive down to us. Do you want me to speak to him when I see him today ?.He did Bullemagnets ? Quote

coldel Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 Took the old chrome badges off the back, fair bit of adhesive back there, but got it away in the end. Have sprayed the badges matte black, but do I put them back or not? To badge or not to badge, that is the question...? Quote
GMballistic Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Tbh I like the de-badged look although the "GT-FOUR" badge is pretty special. What about getting the "Toyota" badge off the back as well? Think it would look much better with them all off tbh. Quote
