The Z is actually my son's car but we look after it and use it as he is away a lot. We have an old Jaguar XKR as well (supercharged sofa) and the Nissan feels more like a go kart! Initially plans for it are to fit a stubby aerial, fit a new gearknob as its tatty, maybe change the head unit so we can play music through the speakers from my i-phone and refurb the wheels....eventually! I work with bikes and cars a fair amount so will do all of the maintenance at home. So chaps, gen me up, its an '07 car, is it a facelift or pre-facelift? - Also the insurance said it was a 312bhp model, but I thought that had a different bonnet bulge and ours was 290 odd bhp, any ideas please? Kieran O'Quick Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Pretty sure that is not 312 - like you say, those have the bulge. Your redline should be at 7000? As Kieran says above, the redline on your Rev counter should start at 7000 rpm. 7500 rpm on an HR.
