brians25 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah the turbo conversion is excellent, nissan should have built them like that to start with and if it goes pop i will get it forged. Quote
brians25 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Cheers Clark motorsport, Will be taking your advice and using HQ garage also thanks Brian 1 Quote
ZMANALEX Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Hi Brian and to the forum. I know this car and Kenny had the same issues with items 3 and 4 that you list in your initial post. I can't remember what the items in 1 and 2 are for, but I am sure Kenny will advise. Alex. 1 Quote
brians25 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 thanks alex, its a mint car i just need to sort these few minor issues, i've run plenty modded cars before so i know what it takes to keep them going well lol. Quote
Vik54 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Nice to see the car kept in the club - Brian. Do HQ have TT zed experience? Having seen videos of some of their Dyno runs I'd be wary Quote
Neilp Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I'm looking at using HQ for sorting my nitrous issue out. Wallace performance directed me towards them. I also run the haltech ecu btw Quote
Neilp Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Vik, what was the dyno run videos all about? Quote
Keyser Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Along Ref 3 - The Haltech - I had the Haltech piggy back on my SC Zed - if the stock ECU throws a CEL the Haltech won't stop it, I used to get the lamda sensor warning due to the SC and De- Cats I had an uprev license put on the stock ECU this allowed us to disable the warnings and remove the 155mph speed limiter. Hope it helps Quote
Ewen@Clark Motorsport Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 You will not have a problem at HQ regards mapping, Russ is a well respected mapper that maps a number of high power road and track cars as well as Dom Buckleys rally car customers. Quote
Vik54 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Vik, what was the dyno run videos all about? WIll PM you x Quote
brians25 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 excellent, the uprev licence sounds like a thought as i currently have a bluetooth obd2 adapter plugged in running Torque on my mobile to reset the code when it comes up, its always the same code, powertrain to rich due to the mapping of the car having the twins on it. and probably the decat. Thanks again for all the help , much appreciated guys. Quote
Durk Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 ignoring the fact its a T/T beast it looks stunning! 1 Quote
brians25 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah the turbos are a lovely addition, i was looking for a turbo one for some time, and went for this one as soon as i saw it, the dished rims are like new and totally set the car off in the flesh, Also with low and high boost settings you can pootle around with 343 bhp until you need more and press the high boost along with the loud pedal. I would recommend the turbo setup to anyone looking for more grunt, i have driven a few without the twins and its quite a different feeling. Quote
