Humpy Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 After the day I have had with my work van which is normally bullet proof any car would seem great to me at the moment. The zed is a Brucey bonus for sure Quote

chrisday1990 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I love Fridays when I Park The van up and get back in the Z reminds me how nice and sharp it is My Peugeot Partner has give in the tyres, give in the chassis & give in the suspension but the Z on a Saturday is SOLID!!!!! Quote
Justthejedi Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Yep, getting back in the zed on a Friday instead of a Fiesta is an amazing feeling....I actually look forward to the drive to work! Quote
ross27 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I know that feeling!! Drive a Focus Estate as a run about all week, then bring out the 370 on a Friday! Im alway up early on a Friday, and take the long route to work 1 Quote
Wasso Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I can totally relate to this. I use the Alfa Mon-Thu and Friday is a zed treat day. Motorways are far better on a Friday and LOVE IT!! Work on a Friday is now twice as good. Quote
daveallen1999 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I agree with the all the statements above. I drive a lot of vans in the week. Can't wait to drive the Z on the weekend. Quote
AndyG8nby Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 We have a new Qashqai which gets mainly used during the week and although its a great car it seems to do everything for you and is easy to drive, there is no connection there it just seems like you get in it and steer it. When you get back in the Z its a lovely contrast, you feel connected, a nice Notchy gear change and you can feel the car and road through the steering wheel, like chalk and cheese. 1 Quote
SHEZZA Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 (edited) Same here I drive a van all week and love getting the zed out on a Friday as it lives at my parents at the moment because I have no room at home until we hopefully move house next year. Even look forward to taking it back on a Monday morning before work ! Haha Edited November 22, 2014 by SHEZZA Quote
martybhoy Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 The only bonus of having to work weekends or late shifts is that when I go home the roads are quiet and the zed blasts around them! Quote
chirag1988 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Same here, I drive a Polo 1.4TDI all week, and then the weekend comes and I get all giddy knowing I'll turning the key soon and hearing that V6 power up and ready to drive a proper car Went down to Portsmouth last weekend and my best mate has an Evo 10 and we swapped cars for the day. No doubt the evo has relentless power over the zed, but by the end of the day my mate said he was in love with my zed and if it wasn't for the fact that it was just 2 seats he would swap his evo in for it in a heartbeat. Also, it was the first time I'd heard my car being driven, and boy does the zorst send a chill of excitement down my spine! Quote
tatooandy67 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Drive my zed every day so for me every day is like Friday 2 Quote
ross27 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Drive my zed every day so for me every day is like Friday I used to drive mine daily, and racked up 8000miles between Feb-June. Bought a cheap runabout for some home renovations and started to use it daily. When you are sat in a 11 year old focus estate all week, its nice to get back into the Z. You appreciate it much much more. Quote

370Ad Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 You can usually find me sat on the M4 in the Z most weekdays. Hate the traffic but it could be worse, I could have to squeeze myself into a tube train. Quote
