Evening!

A few days ago I saw a 350z with a for sale sign in the window as I drove into town.... A few phone calls and a quick spin later and I bought it! Purely as a bit of a fun punt. I've owned Lotus's for the last 6 years and having sold my last one I thought I'd give something else a try for a bit.

The car is a 53 plate import, with 39k on the clock. Bought very cheaply.

The (obvious) reason for the low price is it has a Cat D marker on it, having seen the pre-repair photos it suffered a knock to the back quarter and has been put back together well. I'm not overly fussed about that as if it needs further cash so be it and I'm happy to take that gamble :)

Paperwork wise all I have is the most recent MOT form, showing it covering less than 10k in the last 5 years... no service history whatsoever though, this is my first priority and getting started on a documents pack is pretty important to me, AA Inspection report, service receipts etc for however long I own it.... To that end can anyone point me in the direction of a service schedule? Known faults? Etc.

Finally, I'm used to highly strung 4 pots strapped to a 700kg shell, this is very much a different beast that I have no experience of, so if there's anyone in the Newquay/Truro area that has an hour to spare and can give mine a run out to feel for any issued it'd be appreciated

Cheers

Si.

Welcome aboard Si. :welcome:

Service schedule for the 350's here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/

350Z known issues; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107-350z-known-issues/

Lot's more 350 relevant information in the sub categories; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/66-350z-forum/

If you need any more questions answered just write into the google search bar; "350Z UK...." followed by your question. E.g: 350Z UK windscreen washers not working.

You'll get more results searching like that than using the search engine on here and save people from answering the same questions over & over again but if you can't find any answers that way then feel free to ask on here ~ pretty friendly bunch. :D:wave:

Impulse buys are always the best. ;)

I still think that the bogie green dress you bought when we went shopping recently wasn't one of your better decisions. Mind you that pink thong thingy I bought wasn't any better.

By the way, welcome to our new Cornish Member

Welcome to the forum and i hope you're enjoying a different sort of engine roar now. :) :)

Thanks for the warm welcome and all the info, always good to see a busy forum :)

Yep, massively different characteristics to the lotus, much as I miss a screaming 4pot I'm quite enjoying a V6 :)

Shall post some pics soon and hopefully meet people in the flesh at some point!
