spursmaddave Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Still a worthwhile thing to do, just work out what % difference is between you or a target which is achievable and base the winner on that Quote
spursmaddave Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 (edited) I would say Grundy is 350z biggest loser in so many ways already though Edited July 31, 2014 by spursmaddave 1 Quote
Grundy Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I'm currently hugging my last RedBull My main plan will be - Replace all fluids with Water. - I did that for a year (Several years ago) And felt so good for doing it, had no craving for fizzy etc, and my skin was amazing. Until I was out with another family and they bought be a coke ;( Was rude to say no. Going to try and introduce salad to my life. I've been having it more and more over the past 6months, and I think I could grow to like it. So shopping tomorrow, is basically going to be a load of Chick Breats, Steak, Fish etc. And just lots of salad. Then a large portion of fruit to snack on through the day. Going to actually make my lunch the night before in a plastic container, this will save me money and stop me eating a sausage roll every day at lunch Also Stevo - Download the 7 minute for 7 months work out app. Quote

Grundy Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 So Day 1.. I'm hungry already Lunch = Going to town for a smoothie, as I had no food at home to make lunch. Then google how to make a good salad Evening = Go to shops, get salad and meats etc. 1 Quote
SteveM Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 should start the day with a decent breakfast then mid morning have a SMALL snack... little and often is the key to keeping things ticking over.. drink plenty of water to fill you up Quote

Then google how to make a good salad Evening = Go to shops, get salad and meats etc. that hunger will quickly go if you fight through it... it's almost as if your stomach shrinks and thus so does your appetite.. but I know that probably isn't true but its the way it feels!! BulletMagnet Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 And you'll feel hungry at the start as your body adjusts until it has adjusted, you may also feel less energetic, but it's all for a good cause in the long run. Quote

Ekona Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I was just under 17st at my biggest, then went on a mental health binge of diet & exercise for 12mths and go down to 12st. Best thing I ever did, that was three years ago and I've kept the weight off as well as added a little muscle for toning. Steve, good luck matey, keep it going for longer than a month and you WILL feel amazing about yourself. Grundy, good on you for helping along too, I reckon even a couple of stone off you and you'll be well chuffed. Very positive thread, hope you both do really well 2 Quote
