Not an owner (yet) but long time lover!!!

Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello :)

I've been lurking here quietly for a short while trying my best to ingest all the facets of info I've been reading. I've always been a huge fan of the 350z and only until now have I thought about owning one as my daily drive. I do minim miles annually and think it's the perfect time to treat myself to a car, that based on the opinions and voices of everyone not only here but online seems to be a great choice.

In a perfect world I'd like to source a 2005/early 2006, pre tax hike 350z gt. With black leather interior and all the trimmings. Ive got a budget of £10000 to play with which should see me right. I HOPE!! I've tried my best to research various issues and hiccups that should be taken into consideration when looking...

I was wondering if any of you kind fellows could shed some brief gems of info that would stand me in good stead to make a purchase pretty soon :) I'm hoping to view some this week, possibly even taking a drive to tradelink. Although I've heard mixed things about these guys I firmly believe in treating everything with a pinch of salt.

Anyway thanks for your time and I can't wait to be a very happy enthusiastic Z owner !!!!!!!! :)

THANKS!!

Luke.

Thanks guys!! My day has been spent sat on the sofa browsing countless websites and communities. The bonus of having the mrs away on a girly weekend I guess ;)

I'm not savy with all the forum rules as yet but can I repost listings of cars for sale within this thread??? Would be great to get any feed back, proving of course they're not snapped up!!! :)

From what I've seen 7/8.5k seems reasonable for a 2005/6 gt spec, good mileage nice condition etc.... But may be wrong, like I said I'm very new to the Z scene but thirsty for knowledge :)

Cheers guys!

As far as I'm aware you can ~ it's a different matter though if it's a car you're trying to sell but no problem if it's one you're after buying advice/opinions on. ;)

Welcome aboard btw Luke.

Perfect!! Il post some examples in that case - although I fear I'm already already becoming my own worse enemy I'm seeking out the absolute perfect model in black! :) still let's see what crops up...

Are they're any suggested sites out side of auto trader, piston heads, eBay, etc??

If I had a 10k budget I'd be going for a later HR car. The tax difference is about 2 tanks of fuel. You'd also have a newer, faster car that would be easier to sell on after

Thanks guys - I may well look into a HR model then. Can someone tell me when they introduced the built in upper sat nav unit?? :)
