370Z Black on Black Thoughts?

Personally, I'm not a fan, when you take pictures, there's no wheels visible, when the car is moving it looks like you have steel wheels on.

Have you thought of a gunmetal colour? Dark enough to still look moody, but light enough that you can still appreciate the lovely alloys the 370 has? :)

Yeah this is my dilemma at the moment, to go more with the black edition styling

Decided that I am going to give them a go in Piano Gloss Black, think it looks mean on the 370Z, will post some pics up when they are done, had a look at Anthracite and the Black Edition wheels but just want them a bit darker

Black on black, as said, get lost in my eyes and can look naff.

I did a set of wheels BMW gunmetal once, they came out superb.

If you want dark, go dark anthracite or something in my vote.

Agree, I had a Night Blue 350 with Porsche Anthracite grey wheels (GM ish) and didn't get a single negative comment...to my face :)

I think the black edition rays are antharcite, probably right will look nicer than just black

The 40th Anniversary 'Black Edition' wheels are Shadow Chrome (which no one other than Nissan can do apparently)

Shadow Chrome is a colour that any decent specialist can match. Effectively just a hyper silver with a black overspray. My old Mazda MPS came with that finish as standard.

Im considering doing the wheels on my Z, and will probably go for a dark gunmetal type colour, similar to the 40th editions. I feel that dark grey look perfect against a black car.

However, my dream wheels are these:
