Thanks for the replays every one think I need a up rev now. It dropped to 22mpg after fitting the filter now after the decats it's 20mpg so think a up rev is needed now then. But am going to refit my OEM air box cos until it's done :-)

Doesn't sounds quite right to me if you still drive the same as before.

I get around 27mpg (was 28 before nismo spoiler).

Worth getting a can of Wynns injector cleaner, spray some through, or get a bottle of stuff to add to the tank that cleans them as well.

That usually helps me when they've not been done for a while.

Also check tyre pressures are correct.

+ remap if not done.

Just looked in help section

Photobucket to post pics and YouTube link to add video clips

Hope this helps, I'm sure someone will be along soon with a better answer if this doesn't help :)

im not great with aftermarket maps and things like that but best way to explain is that your car is getting rid of exhaust gases quicker and also with the breathing mod taking in air quicker therefore putting the map out making the air/fuel ratio go out as well causing your mpg to go down , like its been said before a simple map will soon re-cal your air-fuel ratio :)

Interesting comments considering that everyone thinks that the Z ECU will dial out/not realise any performance improvements added,

and if you say that adding a free flow filter and exhaust is allowing more air, and so using more fuel, then where is the resulting performance improvement??

No better sound than a sport exhaust with the taps open, are you still hitting 20 mpg
