hawker1986 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Our 2005 we bought two years ago with 31000 on the clock and now has 52000. It has had exhaust replaced due to failure and needed a gearbox rebuild due to a problem with synchro in 5th gear. Otherwise just wear and tear items. Going for its P2 and MOT next month. bamdc2 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 2004, 53k daily driver, replaced exhaust when bought couple years ago as was split and blowing and got Scorpion on there which is so much better. Only other "repair" I needed was wheel hub bearing as that was an advisory when bought and replaced the boot struts as they failed with spoiler I put on. Apart from the usual replacement pads and discs when needed, undersealing and a few mods I wanted it has been really great. Quote

A result if you've only just bought it, but a total waste if you've own it for a while. Just think of all the fun miles your missing. Edit - I think bevis the garage Queen may just have you pipped. HAMLNJ Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Mine has 109k, bought early 2013. Out 3k on. Undersealed the car, new exhaust. 2 services. Gear box cold do with some moly slip. But other than that it's very strong. My mechanic was impressed when I turned up in it Quote

It started slipping in the higher gears so I had no choice. Didn't even consider doing it myself and let my local garage do it who charged about £280 for the labour. I also upgraded the flywheel while the clutch was out. My car had done 62,000 miles when it went. 1 Quote
