Show me the money!!! (or your tattoo will suffice)

Part of a sleeve which is not finished that represents sorrow - what you see is a weeping angel looking down on

those which have passed away- skull is self explanatory as with the Ross and the weeping angel I guess. The other I have is on my ribs shown below

Of course Ive read what youve written, but I still think deciding that you want a tat and then trying to figure out what it will be is doing it the wrong way round. If you want inspiration is it not easier just to search google images?

By all means ignore me BTW

Apologies for being a right ****

That's okay mate, I think we've forgiven you by now ;)

I kinda know what you're getting at though. A mate of mine is going through a phase of liking a certain thing which is currently fashionable, and now they've gone and got a massive tattoo of this thing on them. Three years ago they couldn't stand this thing, and now they're mad for it. In a couple more years' time, I think they're going to realise they've made a massive mistake.

At least Dip wanted the original Ferrari logo for years, long enough that he knew he'd like it regardless. I may not like it personally, but massive respect for at least waiting until he was sure.

Which is something I'd be doing with this. Not gonna get a tattoo unless I'm perfectly happy with it. Not in my nature to do so. I don't do things on a whim.

I wannna do that but Iam trying to find stuff to inspire me not copy. The Ferrari tattoo means a lot to me. Not just a brand.

Can I be nosey and ask why does the Ferrari tattoo means a lot to you?

Jacr877 - that tattoo looks great - I bet that took a good few hours!

Cragus - On my arm it was a five hours one sitting

ribs was 4 hours one sitting.

I agree with Ekona some people get tattoos just to be part of fashion or example everyone just now is getting pocket watches tattooed on them which represents time flies and an owl is really popular also. Tattoos are meant to be personnel thing and for me they are meant to mean something.

I know what I want for my next one, I just need someone to draw my ideas out! Anyone know of anyone who can draw?

The tattoo artist will do a few drawing for you if you tell him/her your ideas. That's how my mate works who is a tattoo artist. :)

That's what I've done in the past, but I have a lot I want incorporated into the next piece, and it might take a while to get perfect. Also my bloke has disappeared off the face of the earth, so need to sort a new one

For me, it represents the childhood dream. The passion, the excitement, and also my father and I love our f1.

I'm quite late to join the tattoo party and got my first two last year whilst out in the States...I love America and want to visit every state so I decided to get a small star every time I visit a new State. Lamely I've only got two tattoos thus far - I've visited eight states in total but I don't want to cheat and retroactively add stars here in the UK.

The two are on my ribs/waist and I have a red star (from the Californian flag) which I got done in San Francisco and a blue star inspired by the Nevada flag which was done in Las Vegas at the studio featured in the TV show 'Bad Ink' if anyone's seen that? I'm hoping to get out to Texas (and other southern states) this year so I'll get more done then.

I should try and get some suitable pics of them but the only ones I have might be a bit 'rum' for a family forum ;)
