Envy Valeting Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Lucky us, the 2nd Classic Porsche we have been lucky enough to get to do. This one we did at our Gosport, Hampshire Unit. The owner had the Porsche restored and it needed the final flourish to get her up together ready to sell, straight to us from the body shop. It was done as a fill in job, and left with us for a week but hands on time I'd say 2.5 days. Washed as per usual, but with the addition of APC and magic sponges to remove white residue from the rubbers! Underbonnet and interior carpet sections removed and hit with the Vortex machine. 11 pieces would you believe! Lots of patience and attention to detail on this one 50 50! Something new from the classic car show courtesy of John Hogg. Soaked in like a sponge and smelt great. Sadly I'm on the south coast but I do pass near enough to Blackpool a couple of times a year if you do want yours doing. May 2014 will be next on my way to the IOM... Just wondered, whats your technique for making sure you dress all the rubber trim, but dont get the product on the paint work? Or do you, and just wipe if off with QD?
